About the Role
Reporting to the RX Chief Privacy Officer, the APAC Data Protection Manager (DPM) ensures RX's compliance with data protection laws across China, Singapore, South Korea, Australia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam. The role provides expert, solution-oriented advice on privacy compliance, supporting the Global Privacy Office and aligning with local legislation (e.g., PIPL, Privacy Act, PDPL, PDPD). The DPM leads privacy assessments, manages compliance tracking, and communicates risks and maturity to senior stakeholders. They are responsible for embedding global privacy standards locally, maintaining data inventories, supporting audits, and delivering tailored privacy training.
Working within a global team, the DPM collaborates closely with privacy champions and stakeholders across business units, including the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and C-suite executives. The role demands strong leadership skills, the ability to drive compliance initiatives, and excellent communication skills. The DPM plays a key role in fostering a privacy-first culture, building cross-functional relationships, and ensuring alignment between business operations and global privacy strategies.
Responsibilities:
+ Lead and complete Privacy Impact Assessments for business process changes, ensuring timely delivery and effective risk mitigation.
+ Monitor, report, and support remediation of privacy risks and compliance issues across business units.
+ Provide expert privacy advice and guidance to APAC business units, backed by research and aligned with legal and policy requirements.
+ Design and deliver privacy training and communications tailored to business needs, especially in marketing and sales.
+ Develop and lead the regional Hub Privacy Programme, aligning with global strategy and ensuring local compliance.
+ Identify and address gaps in privacy programmes, especially during audits, acquisitions, or divestments.
+ Act as liaison between business units and the Global Privacy Office, fielding queries and escalating issues where needed.
+ Maintain a network of Privacy Champions to foster a culture of privacy awareness and accountability.
+ Oversee and support responses to privacy rights requests, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution.
+ Create and improve privacy-related processes and documentation, including those related to third-party systems.
Requirements
+ Excellent business level proficiency in Mandarin and English.
+ Certified in privacy (e.g., CIPP/A, CIPM); a degree in law or data governance is preferred.
+ In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with global privacy laws (e.g., PIPL, Privacy Act, PDPL, PDPD) in commercial settings.
+ Proficient in OneTrust, including DSAR, Inventory, Assessment, and Cookie modules.
+ Strong grasp of online platforms, big data, and related systems and processes.
+ Proven ability to communicate clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels.
+ Strong leadership skills with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
+ Skilled in managing multiple priorities and delivering under tight deadlines.

**Your New Role and Responsibilities**
Leidos Australia is expanding our 24x7x365 Central Processing Cyber Security Operations Centre (CP SOC) capability with the Department of Defence. CP SOC works collaboratively with the Defence Security Operations Centre (DSOC) to assist in defending one of the largest and most complex ICT networks in the southern hemisphere.
We seek an experienced Senior Cyber Security Analyst to inspire, motivate, and mentor team members in achieving Defence mission outcomes.
This permanent role requires the successful applicant to work on a rotating shift roster (typically 12-hour shifts) onsite at HMAS Harman in Canberra.
The roles and responsibilities extend to:
+ **Monitor and Analyse Security Events:** Continuously monitor networks and endpoints for security alerts, threats, and intrusions using SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
+ **Incident Response and Management:** Triage, investigate, and manage security incidents end-to-end, including escalation and reporting as required.
+ **Threat and Vulnerability Management:** Assess emerging threats and vulnerabilities, develop custom detection signatures, and implement measures to mitigate risks.
+ **Security Tool Administration and Process Improvement:** Maintain and support security tools, review and improve operational processes, and ensure the health of deployed security systems.

The AWS Personnel Security (PerSec) team is responsible managing security clearance and vetting activities for AWS employees supporting programs, including continual assessments on suitability. As a Personnel Security Analyst, you will join a team of industry-leading security experts working with customer representatives to operate and continuously improve industry-leading personnel security programs and processes.
The AWS Security team requires innovative thinking that is balanced with a strong customer focus on quality and execution. You will have a strong track record of leading and supporting security programs, demonstrable program/project management experience, comprehensive knowledge of government clearance (e.g. AGSVA) process and reporting requirements, and a deep understanding of government security programs and processes (including securely on-boarding program staff). You will obsess over internal and external customers and successfully deliver support and services in an environment where priorities shift extremely fast. You must be able to operate independently to lead and manage personnel security projects, continuously triage and prioritise accordingly, communicate clearly and compellingly.

Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience working on sensitive, high security programs, projects or environments
- Demonstrated experience as an analyst or similar in a government or commercial setting
