The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) ANZ business, Data Analytics and GenAI team, is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Engagement Manager (EM) to join our team and lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects.
In this role you will combine strong project leadership skills to drive successful implementations of AWS-based solutions for our clients. You will bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating technical discussions and ensuring alignment with customer outcomes. Applying AWS frameworks like Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption Framework while demonstrating technical credibility across diverse stakeholders, you will distill customer needs into clear technical requirements, decompose complex problems, and make informed trade-off decisions considering performance, scalability, security, and business impact.
Possessing strong project management experience, you will validate technical solutions against business goals, recognize when additional technical evaluation is needed, and manage technical risks. You will be expected to achieve and maintain relevant AWS certifications, develop domain-specific expertise, and effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and business audiences. As you progress, you'll lead increasingly complex technical projects, shape cross-organizational technical strategies, and establish best practices in your domain. AWS Professional Services Public Sector ANZ are hiring a highly technical AWS Delivery Consultant specialised in Data Analytics and GenAI to collaborate with our customers and partners to derive business value from the latest Data Analytics and GenAI services. Our consultants will develop and deliver proof-of-concept projects, technical workshops and support complex projects. These professional services engagements will focus on customer solutions such as batch, real-time data capture and analysis, driving data driven decisions and desired customer outcomes.

Expertise: Collaborate with pre-sales, delivery teams, partners and customer teams to implement Data Analytics and GenAI solutions leveraging services such as AWS Glue, Amazon S3, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS), Amazon Elastic Map Reduce (EMR), Amazon Kinesis, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Athena, AWS Lake Formation, Amazon DataZone, Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Quicksight and Amazon Bedrock.
Solutions: Deliver technical AWS Data Analytics and GenAI engagements with partners and customers. This includes understanding customer requirements and hands on AWS technical delivery.
Delivery: Data Analytics and GenAI engagements may form part of a larger migration and/or modernisation of existing data applications and development of new data applications using AWS cloud services.
Insights: Work with AWS engineering and support teams to convey partner and customer needs and feedback as input to technology roadmaps. Share real world implementation challenges and recommend new capabilities that would simplify adoption and drive greater value from use of AWS cloud services.

This role will report to the Sr. Manager, Business Insights and Analytics for our International Card Services (ICS) business. **Key Accountabilities:**
1. **Support Development of Strategic Plans and Initiatives:** Provide analytics support to Product, Acquisition, Loyalty, Partnership, and Marketing teams on the development of key strategic initiatives. This will include end to end analytics from writing code to pulling data, reviewing the data with manager, packaging data, deriving insights, and presenting to partners.
2. **Compliance and Operational Risk:** Create analytics to support American Express' response to a rapidly changing regulatory environment. Develop and automate reporting to assist with identification and remediation of operational risk events, compliance with regulation, and ensure all reporting documentation is complete and well maintained.
3. **Program Analytics:** Ongoing analysis of key product metrics, profitability levers, customer behaviours, and trends. Generate insights and analysis to support portfolio management.
4. **Management of Analytical Databases:** Production and upkeep of internal databases, run and refreshed on a regular basis. Investigate and problem solve if issues arise with existing processes.
