**Your Role:**
The Data Management Controller is responsible for performing the day-to-day delivery of Technical Data activities on the KC-30A Through Life Support Program, which supports the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) KC-30A Multi Role Transport Tanker platform.
You will also have accountability for:
+ Execute KC-30A DM activities in accordance with the KC-30A TLS contract, regulations, and Northrop Grumman Corporation policies, procedures, plans, and work instructions.
+ Perform Data Management activities including the registration, integrity assurance, control, management, and dissemination of program technical data.
+ Ensure that technical information is accurately registered, and where applicable assigned for Technical Information Review
+ Ensure the accuracy and integrity of KC-30A Enterprise TI and TD held within the Product Lifecycle Management Tool (PLM) and other data repositories.
+ Ensure that KC-30A Enterprise TI and TD complies with International Trade Control (ITC), Intellectual Property (IP), and assist in stewardship activities on the KC-30A Enterprise C&DM System, including the Product Lifecycle Management Tool (PLM).
+ Assist in data review, cleansing, and alignment activities within and between data sources
**About You:**
+ Experience in the aviation, or relevant industry although not essential
+ Knowledge and understanding of airworthiness regulations or not essential
+ Developed Microsoft Office computing skills.

As a dedicated "Data Modeler", you will be responsible for below tasks in details.
**Project Management**
· Implement business and IT data requirements through new data strategies and designs across all data platforms (relational, dimensional, and NoSQL) and data tools (reporting, visualization, analytics, and machine learning).
· Work with business and application/solution teams to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual/logical/physical data models.
· Define and govern data modelling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for enterprise data models.
· Identify the architecture, infrastructure, and interfaces to data sources, tools supporting automated data loads, security concerns, analytic models, and data visualization.
· Hands-on modelling, design, performance tuning etc.
· Work proactively and independently to address project requirements and articulate issues/challenges to reduce project delivery risks.
**Technical Contribution**
· Understand and translate business needs into data models supporting long-term solutions.
· Optimize and update logical and physical data models to support new and existing projects.
· Perform reverse engineering of physical data models from databases and SQL scripts.
· Recommend opportunities for reuse of data models in new environments.
· Evaluate data models and physical databases for variances and discrepancies.
· Validate business data objects for accuracy and completeness.
· Review modifications to existing software to improve efficiency and performance.
· Examine new application design and recommend corrections if required.
· Develop data models according to company standards.
· Analyse data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions.
· Work with development and UAT teams to support the test phase in terms of design issues.
· Perform source data analysis and understand the business requirement to provide the solutions and prepare data models.
· Strong experience in estimations that includes operational costs, resources, governance costs etc.
· Extensive experience in database tools like Teradata, Big data, Oracle etc.

  • A demonstrated experience of modelling HR data from systems such as SAP Success Factors and familiarity with digital data sources such as survey tools (eg; Qualtrics)
  • Strong analytical capabilities to identify trends and drive data-informed decisions.

The Infrastructure Operations team is looking for Data centre Trainee Technicians to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. Data centre Technicians are the primary resolver and troubleshoot and solve a range of data centre infrastructure issues including, but not limited to: hardware, fiber, networking, and related problems.
If you like to use IT principles like computer architecture and the OSI model (Open Systems Interconnection Model) and apply them to finding solutions to problems, we'd like to meet you. Your work will help to maintain one of the world's largest information system infrastructures.
Key job responsibilities
You will be required to engage in physical data centre activities with or without reasonable accommodation. This includes all tasks associated with planning and tracking capacity, rack deployment, rack cabling, hardware and software troubleshooting, and rack decommissioning. Some of the key responsibilities you will undertake are:
Problem Solving:
- Maintain a high level of system reliability by prioritising and resolving trouble tickets efficiently

Project Management:
- Participate in and deliver on a number of high impact small to mid-scale projects
