A bit about the role


 

As the Sustainability Data Analyst Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and analysing Council’s electricity, gas, and water usage to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved energy efficiency. You will investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, support sustainability initiatives, and contribute to carbon emissions reporting in alignment with net zero certification requirements


 

You will also play a key role in educating internal teams, local businesses, and the broader community on energy efficiency and emissions reduction opportunities. What you’ll deliver


 

  • Monitor, analyse and report on Council’s utility expenditure (electricity, gas, water) to identify billing anomalies and reduce costs.

  • Develop utility consumption and performance reports to support internal efficiency improvements and emissions reduction.

**Minimum qualifications:**
+ Experience with assembly of mechanical or electrical systems, or performing component-level repairs and troubleshooting on technical equipment.
+ Experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting operating systems, computer hardware and server hardware.

**Your role at Dynatrace**
As a Manager, Data Analytics, your core responsibilities include a deep level understanding of personnel (across multiple roles and varying levels of skills), the management of the members of your team and direct ownership of the accounts under your team, specifically around growth and value provided to the client.
Each squad will consist of the following:
- 8-10 direct reports (4 or 5 Analyst/Support pairs)
- 8-10 million in annual revenue
- 20-30 accounts
Prerequisite:
- Must be a Senior or Principal Analyst or have 2 years' experience managing a team
- Must successfully complete the interview process with leadership
Key Responsibilities:
People Management (50%):
- Act as a mentor and grow the more junior Support/Analyst members on your squad
- Conduct a 1:1 meeting each month for all members of your team (Support, Analyst, Tech Specialists)
- Requires a comprehensive understanding of the members of your team (technical and soft skills) to effectively assign appropriate projects and accounts
- Responsible for reviews of all team members 1-2 times per year
Business Operations (50%):
- Understand the status and health of accounts on your team with a focus on the top 15 (largest ACV) and those that renew within the fiscal year
- Hold weekly account reviews for your team pairs and provide updates and escalation of account issues
- Attend meetings with internal teams to track and drive client maturity and strengthen relationships with AEs/CSMs/RDs/SEs
- Assist in onboarding new hires to your team and the shadowing program
- Assist in new hire "Analyst" training, mock deliverables and customer facing deliverables (~6 hours per month)
- Attend and provide direction on initial customer calls with new pairs to help with difficult questions and engagement focus to ensure a good start.
- Assist and work with your manager on capacity planning for your squad
- Work collaboratively with data science team, squad managers, PM team, and training team to communicate potential improvement to internal tooling, processes, and training
- Assign the appropriate resources on your team to assist with POC's
