We are seeking a Data Center Area Manager to serve as a technical resource and leader within Amazon data centers. The position will help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels of data center operations. The Area Manager is responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment within the data centers. The Area Manager will assist in maintaining a high reliability and performance while keeping operating costs in facilities at a minimum. This equipment supports mission-critical servers and must maintain better than 99.99% uptime.
Key job responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical physical infrastructure. Ensure that all work performed within the space is done to high quality and without impact to internal/external customers
- Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians in all facets of their career
- Engage in improvement projects, often requiring reaching out to a variety of support teams, and drive them from conception to completion
- Coordinate daily with third party vendors ensuring adherence to contracted SLAs
- Effectively and efficiently manage the operations budget and expenditures
- Operate as the after hours on-call Data Center Facility Manager for the data centers in the region.
- Respond to any issues within the data centers and managing the investigation, mitigation, and recovery of the issue(s)

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience working in a data center or other critical environments with extensive knowledge in UPS, Generators, HVAC, Evaporators and other critical infrastructure
- 3+ years experience in people management, troubleshooting and problem solving
Preferred Qualifications
- An excellent understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations including systems such as feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS units, PDU units, chillers, pumps, air handling units, and CRAHU unit

Key job responsibilities
The AWS Infrastructure Capacity Delivery team is searching for a passionate and talented Technical Programme Manager to support projects growing our Data Centre infrastructure. The TPM will lead cross functional and technical teams to deliver new Data Centres. This will extend from strategy, design, budget, design, implementation, testing, and deployment, including all the dependencies needed to delivery new data centre infrastructure.
At AWS, along with technical knowledge, we expect our leaders to interact with customers, partners and suppliers to understand our business goals and priorities, and to execute rapidly, delivering high-quality results. The candidate will be comfortable in managing remote project delivery teams, and possess the ability to facilitate technical sessions to troubleshoot issues and remove barriers to project success. The TPM will be able to build cross-functional matrix-based teams, establish trust with a variety of stakeholders across multiple time zones, manage capital budgets, eliminate unnecessary activity, design solutions, remove blockers, and find creative ways to accelerate project delivery.
The TPM will be familiar with a variety of project management tools, methodologies and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle. **About the Role:**
As a CBRE Critical Services Manager, you will manage the department that resolves and completes day-to-day work orders to meet customer satisfaction. This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.
**What You'll Do:**
-Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
-Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
-Review work logs and outstanding items through the in-house system to ensure completion. Retain records and present to client upon request.
-Require contractors and staff to comply with all company, client safety, and security requirements. Approve new vendors and maintain relationships with current ones.

-Confirm all out-of-line situations are documented with incident reports and resolved within a timely manner.

Key job responsibilities
The AWS Infrastructure Capacity Delivery team is searching for a passionate and talented Senior Technical Programme Manager to support projects growing our Data Centre infrastructure. The TPM will lead cross functional and technical teams to deliver new Data Centres. This will extend from strategy, design, budget, design, implementation, testing, and deployment, including all the dependencies needed to delivery new data centre infrastructure.
At AWS, along with technical knowledge, we expect our leaders to interact with customers, partners and suppliers to understand our business goals and priorities, and to execute rapidly, delivering high-quality results. The candidate will be comfortable in managing remote project delivery teams, and possess the ability to facilitate technical sessions to troubleshoot issues and remove barriers to project success. The TPM will be able to build cross-functional matrix-based teams, establish trust with a variety of stakeholders across multiple time zones, manage capital budgets, eliminate unnecessary activity, design solutions, remove blockers, and find creative ways to accelerate project delivery.
The TPM will be familiar with a variety of project management tools, methodologies and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle. They'll be able to exhibit demonstrated experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management, reporting and metric development/tracking. Other requirements include experience with MS Office, MS Project and MS SharePoint.

Basic Qualifications
