The DevOps Engineer role is responsible for streamlining the software development and deployment lifecycles by automating processes, managing infrastructure, and fostering collaboration between development and operations teams. They build and manage scalable, high-availability systems, optimize performance, reduce costs, enhance security, and mentor junior engineers. They also play a key role in selecting tools, designing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring efficient and reliable deployments.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Develop, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
+ Automate infrastructure provisioning.
+ Monitoring software performance, fixing errors, troubleshooting systems, implementing preventive measures for smooth workflows, and building automated processes
+ Manage cloud environment (AWS) and optimize resources.
+ Ensure security, compliance, and best practices in deployment pipelines.
+ Implement and manage container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
+ Collaborate with development and IT teams to streamline operations.
+ Maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) for scalability and efficiency.

**Required Qualifications**
+ Degree/Master's Degree in Computer Science or relevant engineering with atleast 6 to 7 Years of Experience in DevOps
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with global teams
+ Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
+ Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
+ Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
+ Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
+ Experience with deployment and management of securely hardened technology frameworks including Kafka, and Kubernetes.
+ Build and deploy experience of Docker containers using Helm Charts and YAML configurations.
+ Experience on TLS, Encryption & Certificate Management
+ Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices, DevSecOps
+ Strong hands-on experience with ArgoCD or similar GitOps tools
+ Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
+ Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
+ Understanding of security best practices in DevOps.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
+ DevOps certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, etc.) are a plus

You will be part of a team of software engineers responsible for the development of Honeywell's Building products. These products are exported worldwide through Honeywell's global businesses.
+ Lead and manage backlog actively with focus on high impact automation (reduce toil, accelerate releases, prevent failures)
+ Lead and support container platform deployment, monitoring and lifecycle management using Docker, Kubernetes and related tools.
+ Lead setting standards and running post-mortems for driving continuous improvement
+ Champion DevOps best practices in CI/CD, monitoring and configuration management
+ Has a combination of skills across infrastructure, code, automation, networking and build techniques
