You'll be a negotiation guru, using your strategic and innovative thinking to close strategic deals right, left, and center.
You will marry your expertise in the media, adtech, and martech space with the Bench's unique value proposition to craft winning proposals and tailor them to meet the specific needs of your clients.
What you’ll do
- Own the sales process from start to finish, including lead generation, briefings, strategy development, proposal creation, compelling presentations, negotiation and onboarding.
- Lead comprehensive discovery sessions, gaining a profound understanding of clients' business goals, digital challenges in order to deliver tailored solutions.
- Create digital marketing solutions that address client/agency needs, leveraging Bench's extensive range of channels, data partners, and products.
- Overcome objections, utilising your advanced negotiation skills to secure sales opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with external customers and internal stakeholders, fostering partnerships that drive growth.
- Be able to work remotely with self-motivation, and seize the opportunity to travel to domestic cities, opening new business avenues and networking at relevant events.
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of sales experience within digital media, adtech, or a related field.
- Experience with generating demand, building a strong opportunity pipeline, and ultimately onboarding medium to large brands, leveraging Bench's value proposition and its network of partners to address the unique needs and desires of diverse prospects.
- Proven track record of successfully generating meetings, pitching to, and closing deals with senior executives and Marketing professionals for medium to large brands
- Ability to establish a network of decision-makers that can be tapped into to generate a consistent flow of new business opportunities.
- A thorough understanding of the digital media landscape, with adtech/martech/programmatic experience.
- Stellar collaboration skills, allowing you to work effectively with internal stakeholders and deliver outstanding outcomes for our customers.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation abilities
- An ability for accurate forecasting and hitting targets, with experience in gap planning and analysis.
- Proficiency in Office/Google Suite, along with experience using CRM systems (preferably Salesforce).
- Strong prioritisation skills to consistently achieve targets.
- Problem-solving skills with the natural ability to generate creative ideas and solutions
- Naturally inquisitive and curious with a positive can-do attitude with strong business and marketing acumen.
- Past experience in an Australian independent media agency highly regarded

About you & the role
We’re looking for a passionate, in-house Content Marketing Manager to help drive our creative engine and grow our passionate community. Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing, this role will be at the heart of our lean and cross-functional team, leveraging their skills in creative briefing, project management and technical marketing execution for rapid project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Content Production
Drive the creative process from ideation to delivery - execute tight, data informed and creative briefs which tell stories that earn attention and drive action.
Organic social strategy - develop and implement Tiktok, Youtube and IG content to grow and drive value for our passionate community.
Hands On Creative Execution – generate a portion of of our creative content yourself to get timely or experimental content out quickly.
Campaign Management & Measurement
Email Marketing & Campaigns - Own the email marketing and CRM implementation. Manage campaigns and automations to maximise engagement and LTV. Align with internal and external partners for high impact creative.
Drive Iterative Test & Lean Approach - Conduct in-depth semantic analysis of our creative content and campaigns to generate insights to fuel future creatives and track progress against our KPIs.
Partnerships & Community
Community & Influencers – Collaborate with our content partners on the production of effective organic and paid content, dive into community management to proactively identify and nurture new content partners and active community members for content opportunities.
Events & Business Partnerships - build & nurture brand and content partnerships and drive our community marketing strategy by being on the ground at events, shows and expos for content and community engagement.
A Day In The Life
On an average day you might be sitting down with one of our content partners (like Redriven) to discuss an upcoming content collaboration, putting the final touches on our Father’s Day content plan, reviewing edits from UGC creators and delivering finals these to the media team. You’d be joining a series of customer interviews to synthesise compelling creative hooks for testing, before producing/launching some video content experiments for our organic social channels.
Qualifications and Skills
5+ yrs in brand marketing or an integrated marketing role in DTC, e-com or consumer goods.
Have an area of deep vertical of creative mastery (eg, design, videography, animation, copywriting).
Experience in managing influencer/ content creator relationships and fostering long term collaboration for mutual value.
Proactive and natural problem-solver comfortable with uncertainty and change.
Experience with key eCommerce tools such as Klaviyo, Notion, CMS/eCom Platforms Like Craft, Shopify or Magento, Google Analytics, Looker Studio or similar in each area.
Highly Advantageous
Experience in a non traditional environment i.e. a startup, rapidly scaling small business, consulting or similar.
A passion for the automotive industry.
An obsession with learning, self-development, podcasts, marketing courses and the endless pursuit of knowledge.

We have an excellent opportunity to join our NBCUniversal Networks & DTC team. Working closely with the Commercial and Marketing teams, you will work across sales briefs and marketing and social campaigns. You will assist the team to create efficiencies and project-manage key initiatives within the team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Generate creative ideas and sales collateral that align with and elevate client briefs
+ Assisting the teams with identifying and developing new revenue opportunities particularly across digital and social media initiatives
+ Keep sales houses informed with the latest programming schedules, digital updates, promotional materials, and relevant sales information.
+ Assisting the teams with the campaign implementation process including coordinating assets, delivery workflows and post campaign reporting
+ Assisting in finding key cultural moments for our brands to tap into as part of Ad Sales pitching, fulfilment and event coverage
+ Support the regular update of Sales collateral (GTM material, trackers and calendars) for 7Bravo, Bravo New Zealand, UTV and DreamWorks APAC channels.
+ Manage vendor set up process from vendor liaison to internal approvals and assist in finance tracking from budget reconciliation to PO raising and invoicing.
+ Provide administrative and event support for the Commercial and Marketing teams, including supporting trade and sponsorship events.
+ Event support including but not limited to new channel launches, affiliate or client trade events, consumer activations, as well as management of merchandise inventory and oversee shipping logistics.
+ Support Social Media team with the production of content reels and content assets to support overall brand strategy (ie. copywriting, publishing and sourcing social content)
+ Assist with internal Symphony campaigns from creative ideation to implementation and reporting.
+ Distribute channel assets internally such as e-signatures and social media banners
+ Liaising with Legal teams on competition T&Cs for social giveaways and general team enquiries
+ Assist with execution of internal town hall presentations and head office meetings.
