Midland Brick is a proudly Western Australian owned, industry leading business based in Perth. We are seeking HC or MC licensed Drivers with a valid Forklift High Risk Work License wanting to learn new skills.
We are seeking Drivers who are customer service focused, needing a challenging role to utilise keen problem-solving skills. The role will require overtime, Saturday work and most days will be from 10 to 14 hours long (subject to work demand).
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe delivery of Midland Brick product throughout the Perth Metropolitan Area
- Ensuring compliance with all safety. requirements including daily pre-starts on vehicles.
- Adhering to all quality control procedures
- Operating the Heavy Vehicles and telehandlers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Completing time sheet documentation correctly and to comply with Fatigue regulations.
- Ability to plan efficient runs adhering to the RAV Network Requirements
- Ability to reverse a Truck & Dog or Road Train (not essential but preferred).
- Excellent Knowledge of the Perth metro area.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently communicate at all levels.
- Valid WA MC or HC driver’s licence (unrestricted).
- Valid High Risk Forklift Ticket
- Ability to hold a Commercial Drivers Medical
- Housing Construction or bricklaying experience would be beneficial.
