About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a forward-thinking Operations Manager to take the lead on shaping the future of Uniting’s Early Learning services. In this role, you’ll oversee multiple teams and service areas, driving operational excellence, strong financial performance and innovative service delivery that responds to the needs of children, families and communities.

Your Impact
This is a senior leadership role where you’ll:
- Provide visionary leadership to Area Managers, Enrolments, and Research teams, driving operational excellence and innovation.
- Oversee financial performance across services, with a focus on strategic budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement to deliver exceptional outcomes for children and families.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, staff wellbeing, and service quality, all while championing diversity and inclusion.
- Lead initiatives to enhance enrolments, streamline processes, and elevate the overall customer experience.
This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in complexity, enjoys building high-performing teams, and is passionate about making a measurable impact.
What You Bring
We’re seeking a strategic leader with:
- Bachelor qualifications in Business, Management, Early Childhood, or a related field (postgraduate studies welcome).
- A current Australian Drivers Licence
- At least 8 years’ experience, including 3+ years leading diverse and dynamic teams.
- A track record in operational strategy, financial management and scaling services.
- Confidence in building strong partnerships, influencing outcomes and navigating complex environments.
- Experience leading teams through change, with a focus on innovation and quality outcomes.

Who We’re Looking For:
- Passionate early childhood educators and OSHC professionals
- Certificate III, Diploma, or ECT qualified (depending on role)
- Current Working with Children Check (NSW)
- First Aid, Anaphylaxis & Asthma certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Positive, flexible and ready to jump in and make every moment count
