About the role
Supporting exciting new growth in production at the L3Harris Centre of Excellence for Electronic Warfare in Australia, this position will report to the Technician Team Leader and work in a team responsible for the manufacture, testing, tuning, integration and sustainment of EW components and systems using radio frequency (RF) and photonic technology.
What the role will involve
Some responsibilities of your role will include the following:
+ Completes manufacturing, testing, tuning and integration of electronic CCA's, modules and systems following methods, procedures, standards, and operations sequences.
+ Efficient and effective product testing and tuning comprising RF, digital and analogue circuits.
+ Accurate data collection associated with test and tune findings and solutions.
+ Provide feedback to management, engineers and peers regarding testing, processes and tools.
+ Ensure quality standards are maintained through best practice.
+ To comply with all Health and Safety legislation, policies and procedures.
+ Supports root cause analysis of failed electronic components and recommends corrective actions.
+ Performs continuous improvement projects targeting waste affecting product quality, cost, and schedule or other items of value to the business.

+ Advanced Diploma in Engineering or Electronics
+ Technical trade in electronics or equivalent
+ IPC-A-610 or equivalent MIL-STD certification
