You will be living in a vibrant regional city located in the Murrumbidgee River region of New South Wales. As the largest inland city in NSW you are ideally situation right in the middle of Sydney and Melbourne making it the perfect base if you wanted to be close enough to both of these main cities.
This regional area has a population of roughly 65,000 residents making it a major urban centre for the region.
You will be working in one of the largest regional hospitals in NSW which provides a comprehensive range of medical services to the Riverina and Murray regions.
On your time off there is loads to do including the beautiful botanic gardens, lake albert a popular spot for walks, picnics and sailing and the memorial gardens for a relaxing place to wonder.

You will:
Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting to the emergency department
Deliver advanced nursing interventions including resuscitation, trauma, and acute care
Administer medications and monitor treatment outcomes
Collaborate with doctors, allied health, and support staff to deliver integrated patient care
Respond to medical emergencies promptly and effectively
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of patient safety and quality care
Provide emotional support and communication to patients and families in stressful situations
Key Responsibilities
Triage patients according to acuity using recognised assessment frameworks
Stabilise and monitor critically unwell patients
Deliver evidence-based nursing care across trauma, cardiac, paediatrics, mental health, and other acute presentations
Escalate clinical concerns and initiate emergency response protocols as required
Contribute to continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the department
Ensure infection control, workplace health and safety, and hospital policy compliance
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Minimum 2 years' recent experience in an Emergency Department or acute care setting
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Advanced clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Competency in IV cannulation, ECG interpretation, venepuncture, and medication administration
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to adapt to the changing demands of emergency care
Desirable qualifications include:
Postgraduate qualifications in Emergency or Critical Care Nursing
ALS, Triage, or Trauma Nursing certificates
