Inclusive Employment & Pathways Lead
Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 incl. superannuation + Wellness Perks
Employment Arrangement: Full-Time
Location: Alexandria, Sydney
Reports to: Programs and Pathways Manager
About Co-HiveCo-Hive is a purpose-driven and fast-growing organisation based in Alexandria, Sydney, dedicated to supporting young adults with disability aged 17–35 as they transition from school to adult life. In just 18 months, Co-Hive has emerged as a game-changing service — winning “Best New Disability Service” at the Australian Disability Service Awards 2024 and gaining national recognition for doing things differently.
We’re here to fill a critical gap. Too often, young people with disability leave school full of dreams, but quickly lose direction as they face a system that isn’t built for them. Co-Hive is rewriting that story — helping participants build skills, confidence, and independence through hands-on, person-led programs that lead to real outcomes in open employment, social connection, and independent living.
Our model is bold, creative, and grounded in real relationships. We co-design every program with participants and their families and work closely with employers, educators, and community partners to build pathways that truly empower. Our work is guided by the core values of self-determination, inclusion, and possibility.
With strong demand and a growing reputation, Co-Hive is now preparing to expand across NSW and beyond. This is a rare opportunity to join a team at the forefront of change — and help shape the future of an organisation already making a profound difference in people’s lives.
The OpportunityAs Co-Hive’s Inclusive Employment & Pathways Lead, you will be the driving force behind creating real-world opportunities for our participants. This is a role that blends strategic leadership with hands-on delivery - ensuring every participant has the support, tools, and connections they need to thrive in open employment, further education, and community life.
You will wear two key hats:Dedicated Job Coach – placing participants at the centre of every decision, helping them prepare for, secure, and sustain meaningful employment.
Connector & Innovator – with deep knowledge of each Co-Hive program and participant needs, you will create and implement experiences and opportunities that enhance learning, putting theory into practice.
Based at the Co-Hive Hub, you’ll still be out and about - meeting employers, visiting workplaces, hosting excursions and field trips, and building community connections. This is a go-getter role for someone who thrives on variety, has excellent administrative and communication skills, and can juggle multiple stakeholders while delivering measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities1. Community Connections & Opportunity Creation
Build and maintain a diverse network of employers, industries, training providers, tertiary institutions, and community organisations.
Develop and deliver excursions, incursions, industry visits, and work experience opportunities that align with participant goals.
