**What's the role?**
Index Sales Specialists at Bloomberg are responsible for new business development in addition to maintaining existing client relationships for Bloomberg Index solutions. As the Australasia Index Sales Specialist for Investment Managers, you will be responsible for positioning, demonstrating and licensing Bloomberg's fixed income, equity, and multi-asset class index solutions to prospective customers in addition to existing Investment Managers across financial institutions in the territory, including working closely with the regional sales team to seek wider adoption and increased penetration of Bloomberg Indices in this client segment across Asia Pacific.

You will be joining a highly experienced, motivated and fast-growing Index Relationship Management team across Asia Pacific that sits within Global Financial Product Sales.
The position is based in Sydney, with coverage spanning across Australasia markets, including New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
**We'll trust you to:**
+ Build senior level relationships with many of the top institutional investment firms in the world
+ Achieve annual sales and revenue targets across the index solutions product suite
+ Utilize your market experience, knowledge of industry trends, and technical skillset throughout the sales process from developing awareness to commercial and contract execution

As a result of the continued success and growth of the ETS business, we are further expanding our eFX sales team in APAC to promote our FXGO offering. As an eFX Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing the FXGO electronic trading franchise across the region.
Bloomberg's Electronic Trading Solutions team sells various solutions for Fixed Income and FX e-trading and workflow automation, as well as work with other enterprise sales teams to cross sell Bloomberg's entire suite of products. As an ETS Account Manager focusing on FX buy-side clients, you will be responsible for managing and growing our Electronic Trading franchise across our platforms. This is primarily accomplished by building deep, value-focused relationships with clients, and engaging with them on ways they can grow and advance their business by partnering with Bloomberg for their trading, automation, and analysis needs.
Account Managers are expected to manage a book of clients, and to develop a deep understanding of their business, workflows and Electronic Trading needs. The goals are increasing revenue from our client base and onboarding new clients to our trading platforms.

Job Description
The Sales Executive - Rheumatology, is responsible for executing on brand strategy and tactical plans in field, delivering on sales performance and effectively managing assigned territory and targeted accounts. You will need to be able to build strong customer relationships and manage customer needs to maximise short and long term sales performance, always placing the patient into the centre of any efforts and operating within AbbVie's business code of conduct, policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
NOTE: This territory covers Victoria West and Tasmania. Travel is required to travel to Tasmania bi-monthly and interstate 2-3 times per year for internal conferences and external congress.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Deliver sales performance, key brand indicators, financial targets, marketing objectives and other key goals in order to meet or exceed on those objectives.
+ Proactively and continuously aspire to serve customer needs, customer expectations and challenges in order to build trusted customer relationships and to achieve win-win outcomes between AbbVie and customers.
+ Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimises coverage and frequency to key customers in order to maximise access and sales opportunities.
+ Manage multiple brands/indications in line with strategy guidance
+ Conduct pre and post call analysis and evaluation in order to continuously improve sales performance. Effectively handle objections, misunderstandings, concerns and consistently gain logical and reasonable calls to action in order to close on every sales call.
+ Continuously build understanding on customer needs and expectations, territory market landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, accounts, disease, product, clinical and sales expertise and share this market intelligence information with in-field team, brand team and sales manager to achieve alignment, to anticipate environmental changes and challenges and to optimize brand strategy and its execution.
+ Differentiate AbbVie's value proposition with health providers assigned and identify, develop and maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates in order to maximize brand performance.
+ Report any adverse event within 24 hours as per AbbVie's policies and procedures.
+ Proactively participate in AbbVie's WHS programs, adhere to policies and promote a safe work environment at all times.
+ Adhere to AbbVie's internal codes of conduct and compliance processes.
+ Other ad hoc duties such as administrative duties, as requested.
Qualifications
+ Preferred Bachelor's degree, biological sciences, pharmacy, business related field, or equivalent.
+ Demonstrated specialty sales experience, ideally in a related area in Rheumatology or Immunology
+ Proven track record of success in selling and excellent presentation skills.
+ Demonstrates in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge and is recognised as an expert resource by all relevant stakeholders.
+ Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools; possesses strategic and critical thinking capabilities.
+ Proactively identifies customer style / behavior and adapts quickly all aspects of selling approach. Understands and leverages findings to develop sales strategies. Offers innovative ideas and solutions to maximise business opportunities to address challenges. Provides impact with ideas for the larger organisation and anticipates and responds to changes.

**What Will I Be Doing?**
As an Event Sales Executive, you will work closely with our clients and hotel teams to plan, coordinate, and deliver exceptional events from start to finish.
Your key responsibilities will include:
+ Coordinating all aspects of events, from enquiry through to execution
+ Preparing accurate and timely Event Orders
+ Managing client communication with professionalism and enthusiasm
