**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Responsible for the management and performance of the Environmental Health and Safety team. Oversee goal development and provide regular feedback.
+ Conducts compliance evaluations of equipment, structures, and work in progress to ensure that regulatory environmental, safety and health standards of the Company and all applicable codes are followed.
+ Recommends facilities and technological specifications to carry out programs that fulfill the organization's overall objectives.
+ Prepares and reviews technical reports, correspondence and procedures manuals.
+ Establishes and maintains licenses and permits as required.
+ Meets applicable regulatory codes and standards where required.
+ May function as a generalist responsible for multiple ES&H facets on a small project or as a specialist on larger projects.
+ ES&H Specialists are expected to pursue and/or complete ES&H related professional. Participates in safety committee meetings as required.
+ Maintain health and safety within the workplace by promoting safety awareness initiatives, discussions and trainings, encouraging a safety focused culture and participating and reviewing risk assessments for those under their supervision.
+ Any other reasonable duties as requested.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND MENTAL DEMANDS**
+ Typical construction environment with associated hazards, occasional lifting to 10kgs and routine lifting to 22kgs, kneeling, standing, grasping, and walking, routinely sitting with occasional use of computer and constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, and must be able to work under deadlines and possess planning/organizing skills.
+ Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
+ The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; and outside weather conditions.
+ The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
+ The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
**SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT**
It is a condition of employment that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role. The employee will require a Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) Department of Defence Security Clearance (Australian) or TS/SCI (U.S.) clearance w/ Poly.

Assists in the review and sustainability of Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
**In this role you will make an impact in the following ways:**
+ Supporting the APAC HSE team in executing the Asia Pacific goal tree and work program.
+ Assists in reporting any work-related injury, illness, HSE incident or hazard through internal reporting processes.
