The role

We're on the lookout for a Talent Acquisition (TA) Coordinator to join our dynamic People & Culture team. In this role, you'll be the engine behind smooth onboarding experiences, meaningful candidate aftercare, and the delivery of early career programs. This is a permanent role based in Altona , with occasional travel interstate.

As a Talent Acquisition Consultant – Partnerships and DEI, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving inclusive hiring across Serco. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead – Partnerships and DEI, you’ll collaborate with external partners, job providers and internal stakeholders to support underrepresented candidates throughout the recruitment journey. From application to onboarding, you’ll help shape an outstanding candidate experience while advancing our diversity hiring goals and strengthening strategic talent partnerships.
Please note: This is a 12-month fixed term contract.
Joining our Partnerships and DEI team as a Talent Acquisition Consultant, you’ll ensure a collaborative, inclusive culture, and be backed by supportive leaders who are genuinely invested in your success. In this role, you’ll help shape fair and inclusive hiring experiences and drive meaningful change by:
- Supporting inclusive hiring strategies with a strong focus on disability inclusion
- Coordinating candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, and onboarding
- Building and maintaining partnerships with community providers and job service agencies
- Facilitating engagement sessions, provider events, and careers expos

In this role, you’ll partner with our People & Culture and Legal leadership teams, supporting them to identify and attract top internal and external talent. You’ll play a key role in delivering on their talent strategies, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.

What You’ll Be Doing- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences.
