Job DescriptionNH Foods (Thomas Borthwicks & Oakey Beef Exports) are currently looking to recruit experienced and qualified Mechanical Engineering Technicians to join their team in Mackay and Oakey. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Running and analysing diagnostic tests on a wide range of agricultural machinery/equipment and tractors
- Maintain, test and repair/replace mechanical assemblies on heavy plant/machinery and tractors
- Perform assessments and repairs in the field and workshop
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Fabricate and assemble new or modified mechanical components for products such as machinery, equipment and measuring instruments
- Work within timeframes and servicing schedules and maintain records
- Installing equipment and testing operations
Skills and Abilities:
- Ideally have Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related
- A minimum of three years’ experience
- The ability to work in a team environment
