About the Role:
You will lead a 50-bed aged care facility (with hospital-style and MPS services) that is currently undergoing a major refurbishment and expansion, including 17 new beds and a planned 44-room assisted living development.
As Director of Facilities , you will:
- Shape the facility’s transformation and bring to life a new model of care that champions dignity, innovation, and ageism awareness
- Provide leadership across both clinical and non-clinical teams
- Manage operations, compliance, budgets, and resources with a focus on excellence
- Build a strong, motivated workforce delivering person-centred care
- Engage with the community, residents, and families to foster connection and trust
You’re a dynamic, motivated leader ready to take on a pivotal role in shaping the future of aged care. With a strong track record in managing high-performing teams, you’re confident leading both clinical and non-clinical staff in a facility that’s undergoing exciting growth and redevelopment.
To be eligible you must:
- A relevant tertiary qualification
- Proven experience managing care facilities or complex service operations with direct reports
- Sound understanding of AN-ACC, Aged Care Quality Standards, and national quality indicators
- National Police Check, pre-employment medical, flu and COVID vaccinations, and current driver’s licence
- Current AHPRA registration and recent clinical leadership experience
- Strong working knowledge of aged care clinical requirements
