Salary: $67,000 - $77,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation
Hours: 38
Mode: Full-time
Location: Bathurst NSW 2795
Experience required: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Driver to support the day-to-day operations of our large-format grocery store. This role is essential in managing incoming deliveries, moving pallets from the loading bay to in-store storage and display areas, and supporting the team with general manual handling tasks. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, physically fit, and comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced retail environment with deliveries occurring throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate forklifts safely to unload delivery trucks and transfer pallets from the loading bay to designated areas within the store. < r>• ove and position stock in the backroom and sales floor as required. < r>• A sist with unpacking, breaking down pallets, and replenishing stock in various departments. < r>• S pport store staff with heavy lifting and manual handling of bulk items. < r>• M intain cleanliness and clear access in storage areas, aisles, and receiving zones. < r>• P rform daily safety checks and minor maintenance on forklift equipment. < r>• M nitor and report equipment issues or hazards promptly. < r>• F llow stock rotation procedures (FIFO) to minimise waste. < r>• C llaborate with delivery drivers, stock coordinators, and store managers to ensure efficient stock flow. < r>• M nage and record stock movement in line with store procedures. < r>• A sist in keeping delivery and back-of-house operations running smoothly during peak times. < r>• U hold all workplace health and safety standards, especially in high-traffic areas. < r>
Qualification:
• C rtificate III in Trasport and Logistics or a valid forklift licence (LF and/or LO) < r>
Other Skills and Requirements:
• M nimum 1 year of relevant experience operating forklifts in a retail, warehouse, or grocery environment < r>• A ility to lift, carry, and handle heavy items safely and efficiently < r>• S rong awareness of safety and traffic rules within a store setting < r>• G od communication skills and ability to work as part of a team < r>• P ysically fit, reliable, and able to adapt to changing store demands throughout the day

Job Description
Responsible for the movement of goods throughout the facility from receiving through to dispatch.
Accountabilities:
Unloading of Goods
* Unload / Receiving raw goods such as board, inks, coatings etc.
* Unloading containers, breaking the seal and destuffing.
* Cleaning of containers ready for departure.
* Receiving of outside processed goods.
* Quality and condition check.
* Sign off paperwork ensuring accuracy.
Loading of Goods
* Quality and condition check.
* Weighing of goods.
* Confirm stock matches paperwork.
* Completion of HACCP checklist and CoR requirements.
* Load the goods.
Putting Away of Goods
* Quality and condition check.
* Storage of raw and finished goods.
* Receipting with RF scanner confirming information accuracy.
Supply of stock to machines
* Supply as per schedule or request.
Adhoc Duties
* Empty of bins and other duties as requested.
Experience:
* 2 years Forklift Operating experience in a high-paced warehouse environment including loading/unloading.
* RF scanner experience is a must.
* High-Reach, Counterbalance and Grab Forklift experience advantageous.
* Sound numeracy and communication skills.
