**Your Role**
As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical at RAAF Base Amberley, you will perform maintenance tasks on the fleet of C27-J aircraft. You will work under the DASR 145 Maintenance regulations and assist the crew team leader in ensuring all tasks and responsibilities comply. Participating in small working groups you will aid development of future base maintenance state and capability.

**Your Role**
You'll be part of the team responsible for getting MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft Systems mission-ready - every time. Working alongside experienced technicians and engineers, you'll:
+ Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Triton UAS to ensure safety, reliability, and airworthiness.
+ Work closely with a new, supportive team to deliver multiple serviceable aircraft on time and to standard.
+ Identify tooling, manpower, and facility needs, and provide solutions for technical and logistics challenges.

**Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical**

**About the Role**
We are seeking for motivated and experienced individuals to join our Coffs Harbour or Redcliffe based teams as B1.3 Licensed Engineers across a broad fleet of aircraft types. The position is working closely with our highly skilled team to repair and maintain aircraft in accordance with industry regulations and best practices.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Ensure maintenance performed on assigned aircraft is carried out to the highest possible standard in compliance with company policies and procedures and National Aviation Authority (NAA) Regulations.
+ Ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with the relevant and current Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA)
+ Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers to enhance their overall experience.
+ Ensuring all tasks are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
+ Working with the Quality & Safety Team to ensure aviation quality, safety, and compliance with a focus on continuous improvement.
+ Assigning and supervising tasks for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) allocated to the job and monitoring their progress and paperwork.
+ Focus on safe execution of maintenance activities, while maximizing aircraft availability and ensuring a safe workspace for all employees and visitors to maintenance and engineering facilities.
+ Some travel maybe required.
**Qualifications**
**Essential Criteria**
+ Must be Experienced and hold qualifications on light and medium Bell, Airbus and Leonardo model Helicopters.
+ Must hold current B1 or C license.
+ Completed MEA40715 - Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) or equivalent.
+ A minimum of 3 years - experience in aircraft maintenance and modifications.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with workshop managers and other staff in a busy environment with strict deadlines.
+ An understanding of CASA regulations and compliance requirements.
+ A keen eye for detail and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
+ The ability to work independently.
+ Good computer literacy and experience working with aircraft maintenance programs.
+ Meet the requirements of the Company pre-employment drug and alcohol policy.
+ Provide a current National Police Check.
+ You must have the right to live and work in Australia without restriction and you must be able to obtain and maintain aviation and other government security clearances that may be required.
**Desirable Criteria**
+ The following Type Ratings are highly desirable: Bell 212/412, AW139, EC135, H145, PT6 series engines and T53 series engines.
+ In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Civil Aviation Regulations and familiarisation with foreign NAA regulations.
+ Competency in the use of computer-aided design programs will be well regarded.
