+ Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.

The Mechanical Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) is responsible for performing a broad range of heavy and line maintenance activities on aircraft maintained by the company whilst ensuring safe work practices.

**Your Responsibilities**

**The role:**
Reporting to the Australian Defence Air Traffic Systems (ADATS) Senior Maintenance Manager, the ADATS Technician will cover specialist technical field maintenance and installation activities for the supported Air Traffic Management systems including Radar, Data Processing and Display, Communications and Automation systems. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 15kg without assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance. Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
Support the department achieve team objectives and deliverables

Basic Qualifications
- Experience in preventative maintenance systems
- 1+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment (MHE) experience
- Experience interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings
- 1+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience
- Experience working to appropriate health & safety standards and regulations
- Formal Trade Qualifications: Certificate lll in Electrotechnology with current electrical trade license or Cert III Mechanical Engineering (Fitter/Turner). Alternatively, an equivalent trade qualification formally recognised in Australia.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Experience designing solutions for large, high-volume sorting operations
- Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience with automated controls
- Experience of automated equipment including packaging machinery, sortation and conveyor systems

**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
+ Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
+ Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
+ Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
+ Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.

**What You'll Need:**
+ High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
+ Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
+ Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.

- React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected teams and work efficiently to fix the issue.

A day in the life
Our RME Technicians are based on-site, so they can respond quickly to any machinery issues. You'll carry out a range of planned preventative maintenance to our sites' equipment to make sure it's working safely. As an RME Technician, you'll also respond promptly to breakdowns, investigating, finding, and implementing solutions as quickly as possible. You'll also make suggestions for long-term improvements.
Working alongside senior colleagues, you'll undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks general building maintenance.

Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering or RME team keep our equipment performing at its best. We're a technically minded team, made up of excellent team players and guided by experienced leaders. We work together to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment across our global network of fulfilment centres.
Basic Qualifications
