The Role
As a Web Design & Development Intern , you will:
Work with our product and marketing team to review our existing Webflow websites.
Analyse site structure, usability, and design consistency.
Suggest and implement improvements to site organisation, navigation, and content layouts.
Support in updating design elements, optimising performance, and ensuring responsiveness.
Document recommendations and changes for future maintenance.

**Responsibilities**
+ Design, build, and evolve Azure Portal extensions for Azure Front Door and related networking services, delivering intuitive, performant, and accessible experiences for configuration, monitoring, and diagnostics.
+ Own the full engineering lifecycle-coding, automated testing, CI/CD deployment, telemetry instrumentation, live-site health monitoring, on-call support, and continuous quality assurance.
+ Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and back-end service teams across time zones to transform customer scenarios into end-to-end solutions and deliver them on schedule.
+ Uphold engineering excellence by writing clean, maintainable code, driving rigorous reviews, and ensuring compliance with security, privacy, accessibility, and scalability standards.
+ Advance platform capabilities by improving shared front-end frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and automated quality gates that accelerate development across Azure Networking.
+ Leverage data-driven insights and emerging technologies to innovate, optimize performance, and expand AFD functionality.

**Qualifications**
**Required/Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or C#
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ Proficiency with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) and state-management patterns, and advanced debugging / performance-tuning techniques.
+ Proficient grasp of core computer-science fundamentals-system design, algorithms, and data structures-and the ability to apply them to real-world problems.
+ Deep familiarity with modern design systems and tooling-such as Figma, Fluent UI, or Material Design-and a proven ability to translate them into accessible, responsive, and performant web experiences.
+ Demonstrated curiosity and drive to learn, evaluate, and incorporate emerging technologies that improve user experience and engineering efficiency.
