Key responsibilities include:
Engineering calculations and designs for the development of refrigeration solutions
Preparing estimates for minor project work. This will include preparing tender submissions to client's specifications and deadlines.
Evaluating existing refrigeration plants and assisting our clients to modify the existing systems to meet their requirements.
Marketing all services provided by GBI to customers including consulting services, contract work, maintenance and parts supply. Providing customer support is a significant focus.

Managing project costs and ensuring successful completion of all projects.

Developing knowledge of applicable Australian and International standards for our industry and ensure compliance to our equipment and project work,
Drafting as required for small projects and manufacturing using AutoCAD, Solidworks, hand sketches etc.
Complete safety and engineering audits of refrigeration systems on site to various requirements.
This will include compiling client reports.
Contribute to the continuous development of internal systems to streamline engineering and project management functions.
Completing various administrative duties associated with engineering and project management operations.
Supervise and assist with commissioning as appropriate.
Assist with the delivery of training for internal and external technical people where appropriate.
Taking reasonable care for the health and safety of self and persons at the workplace and those who may be affected by the employee's acts or omissions at work.
Co-operating with GBI management or other staff, both internal or external, as far as it is necessary to enable compliance with any requirement under Health and Safety legislation that are imposed in the interests of health, safety and welfare on the employer or any other person.

Tertiary qualification (minimum B.Eng.) in Mechanical, Process or Chemical Engineering

Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy.

# Job Summary:

# Additional Information
This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.), and work in inclement weather. Some lifting may be required. Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. respirator, harness, life vest, hearing protection, etc.).
The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products i.e. cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco - are permitted to be brought to the site.

Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy.
