**Your day to day**
From the moment a guest starts to consider a vacation until their arrival and stay at the InterContinental Hayman Island, you will create a genuinely memorable experience. As Hayman Concierge you'll lead the delivery of guest requests and enquiries to ensure complete guest satisfaction. You'll also be a brand ambassador and develop great working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
**Base rate $26.78 + penalties + loading**
**What we need from you**
+ Communication skills (both verbal and written)
+ Demonstrated problem-solving skills and flexibility
+ Fluency in English - extra language skills would be great, but not essential.

**About the role**
As the island mechanic it will be your responsibility to maintain our fleet of vehicles and mechanical equipment to provide resort operations with equipment and vehicles that run like clockwork. Your preventative maintenance approach to equipment will help reduce the impact of vehicle and equipment failures allowing our guest to have a trouble-free experience of a lifetime.
With naturally high standards to support our own, you'll approach every task with devotion and pride.
**_Please note this role is an on-island based casual 6 month fixed-term contract, you will be required to relocate to Hayman island._**

**About you**
You will have the following:
Experience - Trade qualification in automotive engineering.
Queensland safety induction White Card
You'll be familiar with Microsoft Office, Email, and any other reporting tools like HotSoS, Hardcat
On top of general engineering tools and hand tools, you'll have a sound knowledge in vehicle electric diagnosis and hydraulic operations
Experience with marine vessels is desired
Fitness - you'll be on your feet most of the day, and will need to bend and kneel a lot
Compliance - as well as meeting any local laws to drive around the resort you will need a Queensland drivers licence - Great communication skills, you'll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to

**About the Role**
The Bell Attendant will greet all guests and collect, deliver and assist with their luggage on arrival and departure. This role will also provide information to guests about events and activities on the Island and provide transfers as required in a safe and responsible manner.
**Base rate $25.93 + penalties + loading**
**Your day to day**
+ Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience
+ Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members, VIP and returning guests by name
+ Have a polite and friendly demeanour at all times
+ Deliver, collect and assist all guest with their luggage
+ Escort guests to their rooms and provide an in-room orientation
+ Assist guests with any hotel or tour information they may require during their stay
+ Assist with room moves
+ Always know what events and activities are on the day's schedule
What we need from you
+ Communication skills and problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities
+ Fluency in the local language - extra language skills would be great, but not essential
+ Literate and tech-savvy - you'll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic maths and computers
+ QUALIFICATION -Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification would be beneficia;
+ Flexibility as night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job
+ You'll have a current clean driver's license
+ Ideally you'll have spent at least one year in a similar position
+ Strength - sometimes you'll need to lift, push and pull big objects and heavy items not exceeding 32kgs. This can involve bending and kneeling
+ Able to travel on boats without sea sickness

**Your day to day**
Our collection of unique dining options provides our guests with extraordinary island experiences of which you will play an integral part.
As Chef de Cuisine, you will direct the operation of the outlet/restaurant kitchen, including food preparation and quality, physical maintenance, and inventory functions, to ensure hotel quality standards and revenue goals are met and food and supply costs are controlled.
You will also manage day-to-day kitchen activities, plan, and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members.

**Salary $85,000 p.a**
**What we need from you**
We are looking for enthusiastic and professional team players who knows how to deliver great service and exceed guest expectations.
Ideally you will have:
- Completion of a degree or certificate in culinary arts and at least 2 years of experience as a chef, with at least one year in a supervisory capacity
- Equivalent combination of education and culinary/kitchen operations experience
- Up to date food safety certification.
