A reputable and long-standing Allied Health provider is seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team in Hornsby . With over two decades of excellence in delivering client-centred care, this organisation continues to expand and innovate in the Allied Health space.
About the Role:
This position offers a flexible and rewarding opportunity with a strong focus on NDIS clients , where you can shape your caseload to include assessment-based or therapy-based work across both Adult and/or Paediatric clients .
You’ll be involved in:

Functional and ADL assessments with support needs recommendations
-
Assistive Technology assessments for simple and complex needs
-
Fine and gross motor therapy sessions
-
Housing needs assessments (SIL, SDA, ILO)
-
1:1 therapy using evidence-based, goal-oriented interventions
-
24-hour positioning and seating assessments
-
Adult therapy (individual and group)
-
Manual handling assessments and training
-
Developmental milestone assessments for children (early intervention and school-aged)
-
Sensory assessments and interventions
-
Emotional regulation and behavioural strategies, including work with parents, carers, and teachers

Essential Requirements:

Minimum 1+ year of NDIS-related experience (required)

Degree in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration

Working with Children Check and National Police Check

Current Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle

Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

About the Opportunity:
We are seeking multiple highly motivated and skilled Allied Health Assitant / OT Assitant to join our team. As one of our clinicians, you'll have the opportunity to conduct evidence-based assessment and therapeutic intervention for clients presenting with a wide range of challenges.
Clinicians are also required to carry out basic administration duties such as:

Keeping accurate and timely file notes
-
Managing a clinical calendar
-
Creating resources (when necessary)
-
Writing assessment reports
-
Writing NDIS applications
-
Communicating clearly and professionally with all clinical stakeholders, including supervisors, colleagues, parents, clients, and support coordinators

Work under the guidance and direction of our supportive allied health professionals
-
Provide both clinical and non-clinical support, including 1:1 support and group-based interventions under the guidance of allied health professionals as well as administrative tasks

Qualifications & Experience

Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent)

Ability to follow a therapy plan as delegated by a therapist and respond to feedback.
