**Your New Role and** **Responsibilities**
We have an opportunity for a Software Support Analyst to join our exciting multi-year Defence program to deliver an enterprise Health Knowledge Management System (HKMS). This capability will enable better clinical decision making for the ADF by providing market leading healthcare to ADF personnel and is a key capability and priority for the ADF.
+ Provide Level 2/3 software support for mission systems, including user interaction, technical troubleshooting, and service request fulfillment.
+ Monitor and manage service requests, incidents, and problem queues to meet contractual KPIs, including triage and assignment.
+ Manage incidents end-to-end (triage, investigation, resolution, escalation, follow-up) and perform root-cause analysis for problems.
+ Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational availability and reliability.
+ Collaborate with client system owners and third-party vendors to resolve escalated issues.
+ Create and maintain system documentation and knowledge base articles, while participating in on-call rotation for priority incidents.
**What You'll Bring to Make An Impact**
+ Experience with application troubleshooting, diagnosing, testing and resolving customer issues.
+ Experience with ticketing, knowledge management and ITSM products such as JIRA, Confluence and Micro focus Service Manager or similar.
+ Experience in ITIL Service Request fulfilment, Incident and Problem processes.
+ Desired experience with scripting languages and task automation.
+ Desired experience with system monitoring and alerting products such as Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
+ Knowledge of networks, network protocols and tools within Enterprise IT environments.

As a Logistics Support Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping the supportability and sustainment outcomes of critical armoured vehicle platforms.
Working within the Defence Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) framework, you will undertake Support Logistics Analysis (SLA) activities that ensure platforms such as infantry fighting vehicles, main battle tanks, and associated mission systems are operationally ready throughout their life of type.
You will collaborate with engineering, project management and Defence stakeholders to ensure that logistic support solutions are practical, cost-effective, and aligned with capability requirements.

Responsibilities:
+ Conduct and document Support Logistics Analysis (SLA) to inform logistics decision-making across acquisition and sustainment phases
+ Contribute to ILS documentation, ensuring compliance with Defence requirements and integration across all Support System Constituent Capabilities (SSCCs)
+ Undertake maintenance policy and level-of-repair analysis to optimise platform availability and cost-effectiveness
+ Provide input into spares forecasting, provisioning and supply chain planning for armoured fighting vehicles and associated subsystems
+ Support the development of Life Cycle Cost models and risk-based sustainment strategies
+ Liaise with Defence, OEMs and industry partners to ensure seamless integration of logistic support elements into broader project and sustainment frameworks
+ Monitor and report on logistics performance metrics, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
+ Sound knowledge of ILS practices within the Defence Acquisition Lifecycle
+ Practical experience with Supportability Analysis techniques (LORA, spares analysis, MTA)
+ Ability to develop and contribute to ILS deliverables (ILS Plans, ILS Concepts, ILSPs, etc.)
+ Exposure to the ASDEFCON contracting suite
+ Understanding of risk management principles and sustainment cost modelling
+ Relevant tertiary qualifications in logistics, engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent Defence experience)

+ Support the development and implementation of site-specific transition plans.
+ Create and maintain logistics support strategies ensuring operational capability through transition and beyond.
**Skills, Experience and Qualifications**
+ University degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
+ Minimum 2 years' experience in integrated logistics support analysis.
+ Demonstrated experience in reliability, maintainability, and availability modelling.
+ Proven ability to develop technical documentation and support strategies.
+ Understanding of systems engineering and maintenance support principles.
**Desirable attributes:**
+ Experience in defence technology related industry.
+ Background in logistics operations across both acquisition and in-service support phases.
+ Knowledge of process development and documentation procedures.
