**Role Title:** Cyber Management and Security Support
**Role Description:** This role will work under limited direction to perform and achieve moderately complex tasks within an integrated workforce. They will liaise with stakeholders of all levels, building good working relationships and providing a point of contact for all operations enquiries. The role is based at RAAF Base Williamtown, working in the Air Warfare Systems Program Office (AWSPO).
**Key Duties will include:**
- Being accountable for system security services requiring a combination of technical security and governance expertise to support AWSPO.
- Provide expert advice to the leadership and project teams in regards to cyber, information security and technical, professional and policy advice.
- Responsible for conducting security certification and accreditation activities for selected ICT systems:
+ up to and including Special Access Program (SAP)
+ in accordance with the Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG) Risk Management Framework (RMF);
- Responsible for conducting capability and concept development in context with technical security
- Identification, analysis and management of security requirements of specified ICT Systems
- Conduct of ICT systems security planning, design, implementation and Verification and Validation (V&V)
- Responsible for providing ICT System Security SME advice on security policy, procedures and governance, specific to projects, up to and including Special Access Program (SAP)
- Assistance with the research, development and implementation of ICT security policy plans and procedures for AWSPO.
**Essential Requirements:**
- Appropriately qualified with 8+ years' experience in this speciality;
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills;
- Ability to tailor communication to all levels of the organisation.

**Role Title:** DISP Security Officer / Manager
**Role Description:**
As a Security Officer within Amentum you may design and implement preventive security standards, procedures and programs. Supports and conducts internal investigations in accordance with legal and customer requirements, as well as company policies. You will also coordinate and administer security clearances and other security policies in accordance with appropriate agencies. Maintains relationships with law enforcement and other government agencies at appropriate levels. May be designated as point of contact to direct a crisis management team or teams during an emergency.
As Amentum Australia is a DISP company you will be specifically responsible for:
+ the development and application of security policies and plans for Amentum Australia;
+ ensuring sensitive and classified materials entrusted to the Amentum Australia are protected in line with DSPF requirements at all times;
+ ensuring and facilitating Defence mandated security education and training courses for Amentum Australia personnel engaged in Defence work;
+ implementing arrangements and training for insider threat identification, reporting and management;
+ reporting security and fraud incidents, and contact reports, in accordance with Control 77.1 - Security Incidents and Investigations;
+ maintaining a Designated Security Assessed Position list;
+ sponsoring and managing all Personnel Security Clearances issued under the authority of Amentum Australia's DISP membership in accordance with the DSPF Control 40.1 - Personnel Security Clearances;
+ As Security impacts International Trade Controls you will also assist in the management of all Amentum Australia's export controls licenses, permit and approvals, including SAMS.
**Essential Requirements:**
+ Australian Citizen
+ Australian Security Clearance NV1 (active or reinstatable)
+ Experience as a Government / Defence / Defence Industry Security Officer (Governance, Physical and Personnel)
+ Desirable Requirements:
+ Knowledge of the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework
+ Experience with International Trade Controls (Australian, US and/or UK)
+ Australian Security Clearance NV2 (active or reinstatable)
**Required Security Clearance Level:**
Initial Australian Security Clearance NV1
Must be able to obtain and maintain an Australian Security Clearance (NV2 Level)
**Location:** All Australian locations considered. Travel to Canberra may be required from time to time.

**Your New Role and Responsibilities**
The Air Component Command and Control Capability System (AC-C2CS) is a mission-critical suite of software applications that enables the Australian Defence Force (ADF) to effectively plan, prepare, execute, manage, and report on aviation operations.
The IT Security Officer will support our customers technology, where an overview of responsibilities includes:
+ Oversee adherence to Defence security frameworks (ISM, DSPF) and manage system accreditation.
+ Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain security documentation.
+ Define and enforce security controls, access management, and data protection measures.
+ Lead incident response planning, continuous monitoring, and vulnerability management.
+ Provide guidance and training to project teams and stakeholders on security best practices.
**What You'll Bring to Make an Impact**
+ Strong understanding of theAustralian Government Information Security Manual (ISM),DSPF, and related compliance standards.
+ Experience inrisk management,security architecture, andincident responsefor mission-critical systems.
+ Familiarity withnetwork security,identity and access management, andsecure system design.
+ Proven experience insystem certification and accreditationprocesses within Defence or similar regulated environments.
