Driver/Carer role
Permanent part-time
LR/MR Licence and a Cert III desirable
Toyota Coaster 22 Seater Vehicle
What you’ll be doing in this role
p>You’ll provide care, companionship and emotional support to residents living in our aged care home, to help support their independence and improve their quality of life p>Provide driving services to and be responsible for the welfare and safety of residents and clients travelling between their places of residence and other Uniting Locations and on outingsAssist residents and clients to enter and exit the bus and provide mobility support as required
Provide supervision of residents and clients and ensure their safety always
Assisting with medication and simple wound dressings and
Supporting residents in community-based recreational and social activities.

Who we’re looking for
p>Ideally, you’ll have a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Individual Support or an equivalent qualification. p>LR/MR Licence highly desirableYou’ll have previous experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin your career in aged care if you’re studying or have recently become qualified.

We're looking for:
Patient Transport Officers (Cert III/IV)
Diploma-qualified medics (for Non Emergency transport shifts)
Anyone motivated, reliable and ready to work

Essential Requirements:
· Minimum Cert III Non Emergency Transport br>
· Diploma in Emergency Health Care (for Non Emergency transport shifts) br>
· Current First Aid & CPR br>
· Police Check & Working with Children Check br>
· Current Driver’s Licence
· Ability to work independently & in a team br>
