In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
+ Retain and defend existing customers and prospect and develop new opportunities to grow the Power Generation business across NSW, including both metro and regional areas.
+ Sell low Kva generators and High Horsepower (HHP) projects to maximise sales growth within the state.
+ Prepare and manage PowerGen quotes for NSW customers.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**To be successful in this role you will need the following:**
+ Very strong Electrical or Mechanical background with a solid understanding of engines and/or electrical systems. Power Generation experience is highly desirable.
+ Previous sales experience in a similar role is preferred.
+ Superior communication skills with the ability to negotiate and develop new business.
+ Experience using CRM is essential. Knowledge of Salesforce will be an advantage.
+ Knowledge of Commercial contracts.

**Job Description**
Due to continued growth in the energy sector, we are expanding our Grid Connections team in Melbourne by hiring a Project Manager to work across development and construction phase of projects (grid-connected and off-grid) in the renewable energy sector, oil & gas, industrial and mining industries.
**How you'll make a difference:**
+ Deliver grid connection and network planning projects, including interconnection studies, reference design, and feasibility assessments for greenfield renewables, energy storage, interconnectors, REZs, and onshore transmission for offshore wind.
+ Lead project delivery in line with the AECOM Project Delivery Framework, acting as Project Director or Approver, and ensuring effective use of resources including time, talent, budget, and materials.
+ Maintain and grow strong client relationships through regular engagement, understanding client needs, and providing responsive, timely, and effective communication.
+ Support business development by identifying new and repeat business opportunities, ensuring client satisfaction, and delivering professional, high-quality services.

We are looking for a degree qualified engineer (electrical, or project manager, with ideally 4 + years of experience in a project management or design / engineer role. Demonstrated experience working in hybrid renewable projects within the Australian utility network is highly regarded.

+ Proven experience in delivering large, utility-scale power projects and grid connections in Australia, with strong knowledge of local regulations, frameworks, connection processes, and major generation technologies (e.g. renewables, storage, biofuels, hydrogen).

+ Effective communicator capable of clearly conveying complex technical ideas to a range of senior, technical, and non-technical stakeholders within and outside of AECOM.
+ Strong track record in stakeholder engagement and management, including close collaboration with project managers, contractors, and clients in diverse and multi-disciplinary project teams.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
