Key Responsibilities
Working within an MPS site, you will be exposed to a unique blend of hospital, aged care, and community health services, ensuring patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care. Some of your duties will include:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, allied health staff, and support workers, to ensure coordinated care
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Respond to medical emergencies.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.

Selection Criteria

• Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA
• At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an MPS setting
• Experience acute care + in-charge (ideal)
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills to prioritise care and make sound clinical judgements.
