The gig:
Reporting to the Club General Manager, you'll deliver both a preventative and reactive maintenance schedule safely, on time and within budget. You'll be the go-to handyperson for all things maintenance for our world class club facilities.
In a nutshell:
- You'll put together a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule including the building shell, fixtures and fittings and surrounding grounds (and support to the Fitness Manager for fitness equipment repairs/breakdowns).
- You'll oversee the completion of minor repairs and reactive maintenance ensuring all is tracked (with accountability for the repairs and maintenance budget).
- You'll refer to contract agreements in place and oversee the allocation of work to these partners, ensuring service level agreements are maintained.
- You'll manage contractors to ensure they achieve agreed outcomes and operate safely.
- You'll ensure electrical compliance and complete emergency lighting discharge and PAT testing.
- You'll regularly report maintenance updates via checklists along with capex projections.
- You'll advocate safety and ensure an overall safe environment for members and team members.
- You'll perform opening and closing procedures and first aid officer duties when required.
- You'll raise awareness about the club's carbon footprint and provide solutions to reduce utility consumption across electricity, gas, water and waste.
- You'll raise with the HOD ('Head of Dept') team to assess, monitor and improve building services and support the team where possible.

- You have 2+ years of relevant facility property maintenance including HVAC experience and your first aid. You may also have a relevant trade qual (electrical or air con and refrigeration) and can readily obtain a Pool Operators certificate (if required). A+ for you.

JOB SUMMARY
Under direct supervision, perform Line Maintenance on Aircraft In Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) systems and other aircraft equipment to ensure system serviceability and functionality. Carry out systems troubleshooting using basic computer and electronic theories and test equipment. Remove and replace components and equipment in accordance with regulations, policies and procedures. If applicable, complete all administrative duties associated with maintenance actions performed.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES.Description
+ IFEC and Aircraft Systems Maintenance:
+ Perform under supervision allocated maintenance tasks including component replacement, adjustments, and functional tests which includes but not limited to:
+ Remove and replace components in accordance with all applicable documentation.
+ Troubleshoot system failures down to Line Replaceable Units (LRU), cabling, or other aircraft systems and perform functional tests post rectification.
+ Perform Cabin Sweep's in accordance with Panasonic LMP's and report findings.
+ Perform Built-in (BIT) and manual test.

JOB SUMMARY
Under direct supervision, perform Line Maintenance on Aircraft In Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) systems and other aircraft equipment to ensure system serviceability and functionality. Carry out systems troubleshooting using basic computer and electronic theories and test equipment. Remove and replace components and equipment in accordance with regulations, policies and procedures. If applicable, complete all administrative duties associated with maintenance actions performed.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES.Description
- IFEC and Aircraft Systems Maintenance:
- Perform under supervision allocated maintenance tasks including component replacement, adjustments, and functional tests which includes but not limited to:
- Remove and replace components in accordance with all applicable documentation.
- Troubleshoot system failures down to Line Replaceable Units (LRU), cabling, or other aircraft systems and perform functional tests post rectification.
- Perform Cabin Sweep's in accordance with Panasonic LMP's and report findings.
- Perform Built-in (BIT) and manual test.
- Perform Software and Media Loading.
- Clean components and equipment racks if applicable to contract.
- If applicable, complete customer documentation in accordance with customer specific requirements
- Ensure timely escalation and coordination in close contact with direct Supervisor of any problem occurring in the assigned aircraft area.
- Perform other reasonable related duties as assigned by direct Supervisor.
- As required, work on other aircraft equipment as assigned.
- Communicate and interface with customer.
- Administrative:
- Assist in the management of airside inventory, cycle counting, packaging and shipping of inventory.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping health and safety and tool care.
- Perform other reasonable related duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor or Management.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Secondary / technical school as minimum.
- Electronics or A/C avionics background.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Essential Aircraft maintenance experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a high-stress, high-pressure environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Basic computer skills in using Linux.
