**Overview**
Maintenance Services Technician I
**Responsibilities**
JOB SUMMARY
Under direct supervision, perform Line Maintenance on Aircraft In Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) systems and other aircraft equipment to ensure system serviceability and functionality. Carry out systems troubleshooting using basic computer and electronic theories and test equipment. Remove and replace components and equipment in accordance with regulations, policies and procedures. If applicable, complete all administrative duties associated with maintenance actions performed.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES.Description
+ IFEC and Aircraft Systems Maintenance:
+ Perform under supervision allocated maintenance tasks including component replacement, adjustments, and functional tests which includes but not limited to:
+ Remove and replace components in accordance with all applicable documentation.
+ Troubleshoot system failures down to Line Replaceable Units (LRU), cabling, or other aircraft systems and perform functional tests post rectification.
+ Perform Cabin Sweep's in accordance with Panasonic LMP's and report findings.
+ Perform Built-in (BIT) and manual test.
+ Perform Software and Media Loading.
+ Clean components and equipment racks if applicable to contract.
+ If applicable, complete customer documentation in accordance with customer specific requirements
+ Ensure timely escalation and coordination in close contact with direct Supervisor of any problem occurring in the assigned aircraft area.
+ Perform other reasonable related duties as assigned by direct Supervisor.
+ As required, work on other aircraft equipment as assigned.
+ Communicate and interface with customer.
+ Administrative:
+ Assist in the management of airside inventory, cycle counting, packaging and shipping of inventory.
+ Maintain high standards of housekeeping health and safety and tool care.
+ Perform other reasonable related duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor or Management.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
+ Secondary / technical school as minimum.
+ Electronics or A/C avionics background.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
+ Essential Aircraft maintenance experience.
+ Excellent communication skills.
+ Ability to work in a high-stress, high-pressure environment.
+ Ability to work in a team environment.
+ Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
+ Basic computer skills in using Linux.
+ Ability to work in a team environment.
+ Normally receives detailed instructions on all work.
+ Use professional concepts while applying company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
+ Must be fluent in English
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
+ Must have the legal right to work in assigned country through nationality, visa or work permits.
+ Ability to pass extensive security and background checks.
+ May require both international and domestic travel, up to 25 % of time, to other line station locations to provide relief from time to time as required.
+ Must hold a valid driver's license and be able to meet the requirements of the airport authority for access and vehicle operation on their premises.
+ Ability to work a rotating shift roster that spans 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
+ Manual dexterity to grasp and work with tool parts and equipment.
+ Ability to:
+ Climb and work from ladder or platform and,
+ Sitting, standing, bending or twisting for extended periods and
+ to lift up to 50 pounds and
+ operate under extreme weather conditions and in confined spaces for extended periods and
+ Ability to cope with environmental conditions which may include exposure to congestion and varying noise levels.

Maintenance Services Representative Lead
**Responsibilities**
JOB SUMMARY
+ Provide Lead Maintenance Service Representative (MSR) support at any appropriate location to which the incumbent is assigned. Perform line maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations, including Panasonic Avionics Corporation (PAC) In-flight Entertainment Systems and other aircraft equipment on aircraft subjected to applicable National Aviation Authorities Regulations to include: troubleshooting and testing of electronic assemblies and units, the removal and replacement of electronic assemblies, units or cabling while installed in the aircraft and the modification/alteration of installed equipment. Line maintenance responsibilities may vary by location.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES.Description
+ Supervision
+ Develop a work schedule that incorporates the needs of the customer and Panasonic Avionics Corporation (PAC) and provide a monthly update by the fifth of the following month.
+ Lead line technicians as they perform their duties.
+ Schedule line technician's daily maintenance activities.
+ Aircraft/IFE Maintenance and other Support
+ Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations to PAC IFE Systems and other aircraft equipment on aircraft subject to e.g. FAA/CAA/EASA/CASA regulations.
+ Perform troubleshooting and testing of electronic assemblies and units, and the removal and replacement of electronic assemblies, units or cabling while installed in the aircraft.
+ Build customer satisfaction through identification, tracking, reporting, and successfully overcome all technical issues for assigned airlines using networked communication systems.
+ Be a strong customer advocate inside Panasonic Avionics to help engineers and management understand and appreciate the customer's views and negotiation points.
+ Technically support the customer as a liaison between line operations and PAC departments.
+ Aggressively contribute to the resolution of all in-fleet problems, assisting the efforts of affected support and engineering organizations within PAC.
+ Develop and maintain a thorough and accurate knowledge of all PAC products, testers, harnesses, and associated equipment. Requires that employee maintain knowledge of product revisions and modifications.
+ As required, based on aircraft type, may work on other aircraft equipment as assigned.
+ Training /Documentation
+ Perform daily data entry tasks and administrative duties.
+ Operate as the local trainer on the PAC IFE SYSTEM.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ 3 - 5 years related industry experience preferred.
+ Appropriate academic/technical qualifications and experience to satisfy regulatory licensing for assigned country or geographical region, and customer requirements e.g. FAA, CASA or EASA A, B1 and/or B2 with relevant type ratings.
+ Ability to pass extensive security and background checks.
+ Airline maintenance operations and 24/7 technical support experience highly desired.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
+ Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions, procedures, blueprints, diagrams, manuals and to comprehend and follow verbal instructions in English, the global aviation standard.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead others.
+ Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook (MS products).
+ Advanced background and knowledge of electronics and troubleshooting generally acquired through commercial aviation, military experience or technical school education combined with two years of related industry experience.
+ Ability to work in a high-stress, high-pressure environment.
+ Consistently works on moderately complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues. Makes recommendations for new procedures.
+ Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Often acts as a facilitator and team leader.
+ As a highly skilled specialist, contributes to the development of concepts and techniques. Completes complex tasks in creative and effective ways.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS

**B1 LAME Aircraft Maintenance Engineer**
Panasonic Avionics Corporation (PAC) is a world leading supplier of in-flight entertainment, communication system and aircraft maintenance company with Australia's head office located in Alexandria, NSW with offices in NSW, VIC, NT, SA, QLD and WA.
Currently we have multiple opportunities for Maintenance Services Technician/Maintenance Services Representatives to be based in our office at airports in Sydney/Melbourne/ Adelaide/Cairns/Perth/Darwin.
**Duties and responsibilities:**
**_Aircraft/IFE Maintenance and Support_**
+ Identifying, dismantling, inspecting, testing and repairing aircraft parts, aircraft engines and motors, aircraft electrical systems, aircraft frames and equipment to restore functional acceptance,
+ Inspecting and installing electrical circuits which may require the removal and replacement/installation of defective line replaceable modules and/or cabling
+ Performing troubleshooting and defect rectification, built-in test (BIT) and manual test on aircraft systems by using the electronic testing equipment or other specialised testing apparatus
+ Rectifying defects, such as defects in the aircraft oxygen system components, in an aircraft to meet approved maintenance requirements
+ Attending to issues, such as issues in assembling parts in aircraft frame, which can affect airworthy and safe operation of an aircraft
+ Performing routine pre-flight line maintenance checks and inspections of engines, frames and mechanical systems for airline clients.
**_Maintains records/ Documentation_**
+ Maintaining records/ Documentation for all the inspections, repairments, replacements, modifications, overhauls, and maintenance performed by using computer and bar-coding equipment.
+ Ensuring the maintenance release contains a certification which documented the details of the work carried out including the identity of organisation and signatory supervise
**_Other Duties and Responsibilities_**
+ Responding to defects found during inspections and those recorded by flight crew in aircraft technical log.
+ Reading engineering drawings and ensure all repairs are in accordance with manufacturer's instructions for the Type Certificate
+ Testing and operating airline communications equipment.
+ Assisting in tracking the spares inventory.
+ Preparing parts which have been received
+ Performing other reasonable related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management.
**The applicant must have:**
+ Holds AQF Certificate IV in aeroskills or trade certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or equivalent
+ For MSR role, minimum 5 years experience in aircraft maintenance as a licencesed aircraft maintenance engineer
+ Appropriate academic/technical qualifications and experience to satisfy regulatory licensing, CASA/EASA/ FAA A&P
+ Ability to obtain a red ASIC
+ Ability to pass extensive security and background checks.
**License requirements**
+ To be eligible for the MSR role, you must possess, or qualify to possess, an Unrestricted CASA Licence Cat B1 with B737, A320, A330, B777, B787, A380, B747-400, or A350 Type Ratings.
+ FAA A&P with B747/B777 certifying experience will also be considered.
**Other requirements :**
+ Willing to travel both internationally and domestically, up to 25 % of time
+ Hold a valid driver's license
+ Must be able to work any shift, weekends and holidays.
