**Position Summary:**
Looking for experienced Insurance BA with experience working with ANZ based insurance clients on Guidewire suite of products (PC, CC and BC) and exposure to digital solutions, integrations and data migrations. As a dedicated Guidewire Business Consultant, you will be responsible for business analysis and solution design of large Guidewire transformations. You will also be involved in large transformation and enhancement initiatives within the Cognizant community of work.
**Mandatory Skills:**
· Experience across General Insurance value chain such as Insurance Quotation, Policy Issuance, Underwriting, Claims, Billing and Reinsurance.
· Experience in delivering Insurance solution and Products
· Guidewire experience, working in the capacity of a business analysts across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and ClaimsCenter
· Experience with multiple Insurance products/ systems including Agent Portals, Rating Engine, Rule Engine and other relevant platforms, and ideal knowledge of associated back end policy Issuance and Claims Settlement processes.
· Knowledge of emerging technologies in Insurance space.
· Understanding Key business parameters.
· Demonstrate and prove managerial maturity, and strong business acumen
· Tertiary Level Qualification
· At least 5 years of experience in relevant field.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
· Work with the business stakeholders in the modernization journey building enhancements on Guidewire Claim center aligned to the business vision and pain points
· Implement systems and solutions that help grow, optimize and protect client organizations.
· Co-coordinate with client/client representatives/key stakeholders to understand their business needs, requirements and expectations and consult solution accordingly.
· Document requirements and create artifacts that serve as prerequisites to technical systems design, testing and training.
· Drive project activities involving scoping, estimation, tracking and warranty support.
· Coach and Mentor new analyst on Insurance applications workflow and functionalities.
· Assist Project manager in developing project plans and manage projects.
**Qualifications & Certifications (Optional):**
+ Master's in Business Administration or equivalent is good to have
+ Preferable tertiary qualification in IT and insurance
+ Insurance industry certification will be an added advantage
