**A Day in the Life**
**An exciting brand-new** opportunity for a Logistics Analyst to join a high performing, dedicated and highly respected ANZ Deliver Operations Team. Be a part of a company that thinks differently to solve problems, make progress, and deliver meaningful innovations.
As Logistics Analyst, you will own the support, monitoring, analysis, interpretation and actioning of the day-to-day operational aspects with our 3PL partners in both warehousing and transportation. In joining the Medtronic Deliver Operations team as a Warehouse Analyst you will be joining a team, where putting the patient first is central to all we do.
**This is a 12 month contract and will report into the Senior Logistics Manager.**
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:**
+ Support the Medtronic Senior Logistics Manager by providing direction and leadership to the 3PL in executing daily operations, projects and process improvements
+ Oversee daily warehouse and transport operations, ensuring performance targets are met.
+ Liaise with the Warehouse (WH) team to coordinate efficient and timely dispatch of orders.
+ Problem solve, root cause analysis and resolution of issues that occur during daily operations.
+ Produce, publish and distribute both scheduled and ad-hoc reports ensuring data integrity and completeness
+ Manage outbound performance SDS metric with 3PL and drive initiatives to improve Order Line Transport Performance (OLTP)
+ Update Tier boards daily with KPI for our Deliver Operations Team
+ Lead logistics projects focused on improving service levels and driving cost savings.
**Required Knowledge and Experience:**
+ High School Diploma, Vocational diploma, or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Logistics
+ Microsoft Excel - advanced data analysis, reporting, and operational tracking.
+ Power BI - performance dashboards and analytics.
+ SAP - order management, system troubleshooting, and reporting.
+ Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
+ Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.

We have an exciting opportunity currently for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Simplot. Based in our office in Mentone. This is a permanent full-time opportunity, 37.5 hours per week.
Working within a close-knit team, in this role you will efficiently ensure the processing of orders through our 3PL partners and coordinate transport movements of finished goods from 3PL's / Distribution Centres to our Customers.
Experience within the Retail transport sector will be viewed favourably as a big focus of this role is process adherence / review, high levels of direct stakeholder/relationship building and efficient movement of orders through to the ultimate Customer.
**What you will do**
+ Ensure all OH&S, COR and legislative requirements are adhered to at all times.
+ Assist with efficient Customer responses to issues.
+ Participate in the review process of all current SOP's.
+ Identify new SOP's to be developed to improve efficiencies to deliver increased profitability through process improvement.
+ Develop and implement change to improve process of orders and delivery of finished goods.
+ Monitor order flows and highlight areas of improvement.
+ Create and maintain internal/external relationships to ensure efficient and effective order processing / deliveries.
+ Produce Operational KPI's to support logistics with service levels of 3PL and Freight suppliers.
+ Claim investigation understanding and POD collation.
**About you**
+ An excellent knowledge of supply chain in particular 3PL warehouse, transport networks, and logistics processes.
+ Ideally experienced within the Retail transport sector.
+ Exposure to ERP Software, particularly JDE and/or SAP.
+ Project management understanding and experience.
+ Effective stakeholder management skills.
+ The ability to influence change and drive process improvement through collaborative team environments.
+ Microsoft Office suite (intermediate Excel, Outlook).

Key job responsibilities
- Maintaining inventory to ensure that proper stock levels are managed to support build and repair activities.
- Physically receiving and issuing out of parts as needed for internal customers.

- Keeping accurate stock records for all items within our care through physical cycle counts.
- Maintaining the safety, organization, and cleanliness of all workspaces using Amazon 7S principles
Travel:
- The role may require the successful candidate to travel to other sites in the in the Melbourne metro area to assist in conducting cycle counts, receiving stock into the inventory control system, replenishing stock and returning defective stock. Travel between sites will require own transport, all travel related costs will be reimbursed.
Physical / Environmental Demands:

Logistics Specialists play a vital role in the success of Amazon Web Services by providing the right part, in the right place at the right time. Your contribution to this success would be maintaining the onsite parts room in AWS Data Centers, by managing the custody of computer hardware through their entire lifecycle. This involves receiving parts, safely storing parts, picking and delivering parts to hardware technicians, cycle counts, and shipping faulty hardware back to the vendor.
You will work closely with Data Centre Operations and Engineering teams to ensure reliable functioning and repair activities to support our customers, while adhering to our operational tenants of safety, security and availability.
Key job responsibilities
- Maintaining inventory to ensure that proper stock levels are managed to support build and repair activities.
- Physically receiving and issuing out of parts as needed for internal customers.
- Loading, unloading and transporting parts between different sites.
- Keeping accurate stock records for all items within our care through physical cycle counts.
- Maintaining the safety, organization, and cleanliness of all workspaces using Amazon 7S principles
Travel:
- The role may require the successful candidate to travel to other sites in the in the Melbourne metro area to assist in conducting cycle counts, receiving stock into the inventory control system, replenishing stock and returning defective stock. Travel between sites will require own transport, all travel related costs will be reimbursed.
Physical / Environmental Demands:

- Loading and unloading shipments.

A day in the life
Your day will be spent carrying out Logistical support functions for our Data Centers. This will involve physical control and processing of spare parts transactions, consumables stock replenishment, and cycle counting of stock.

Seeking an Inventory & Logistics Officer to join our team on a permanent basis. This role will see perform Logistics tasks related to Defence Maritime programs.
