# Job Summary:
In this role, you will participate in subcontract formation and/or administration. Subcontract formation includes leading preparation and review of bid request packages and developing project contracts operating procedures. Subcontract administration includes continual progress review, forecasting, and communication of difficulties. Your work will ensure subcontract compliance with project requirements.
_This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership._
# Major Responsibilities:
**Subcontract Management**
+ Implements the Supply Chain Assignment Schedule which records the Project's agreed assignment of various subcontract management tasks and the Standard Work Process Procedures applicable to Subcontract Management
+ Manages assigned subcontracts maintaining a continual review of progress and providing management with information regarding projected financial or technical difficulties
+ Coordinates with designated staff on operational activities affecting contractual rights and obligations, subcontract performance, and other major matters
+ Manages less complex contract changes by negotiating with customer personnel and obtaining settlement
+ Communicates information programs to ensure mutual understanding of subcontract terms and conditions
+ Prepares periodic status reports for management
**Subcontract Formation**
+ Conforms and ensures subcontract execution
+ Directs negotiation in the commitment of subcontracts
+ Prepares bidders' lists and pre-qualifies bidders
+ Forms bid request packages and issues bid request packages to approved bidders
+ Coordinates bidders' questions and answers to those questions
+ Receives bids and evaluates bids commercially
+ Prepares Commercial Bid Summary and recommendations
+ Recommends and secures approvals in accordance with established procedures
+ Prepares subcontract documents for execution

# Education and Experience Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of technical support management or team leadership experience in a diverse, complex technical environment.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a technical engineer in fields such as systems administration, networking, robotics, or software support.
- Certifications in broad technical domains (e.g., Networking, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, Cloud Technologies) such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
- Service/Project Management certifications such as ITIL.
