+ The repair of major systems such as diesel and gasoline fueled engines, hydrostatic transmissions or hydraulic systems are included in this class when performed as part of the total repair to the type of equipment described above.
+ Locating worn, dirty or improperly adjusted parts through visual inspection or through the use of test and diagnostic equipment
+ Removing, repairing and replacing engines, transmissions, differentials, electrical, and other major components, using appropriate tools to safely perform the procedure.
+ Disassembling components and inspecting parts for wear, using micrometers, calipers, thickness gauges and other appropriate measuring devises.
+ Adjusting valves, checking compression, and isolating major engine related failures.
+ Locating electrical shorts, diagnosing cause and making necessary repairs in accordance with electrical wiring repair procedures, outlined in product service manual.
+ Testing of equipment using appropriate diagnostic equipment required to check suspected components
+ Undertaking parts ordering, invoicing work performed, gathering service information, or any other function performed by the service department in accordance with Toro systems and procedures
+ Performing periodic preventive and corrective maintenance on customer installations

Job Specifications:
The Service Technician must have:
+ Experience in the maintenance and repair of various types of turf equipment, recycling equipment or construction equipment such as tractors, lawn mowers, garden tractors, line trimmers or golf course equipment.
+ Ability to interpret engineering drawing, including parts breakdown drawings and simple electrical schematics
+ Ability to determine mechanical defects which cause engine, transmission, hydraulic or electrical system component failure
+ Ability to dissemble, rebuild, reassemble, adjust, reinstall and align various components in accordance with established product standards
+ Ability to use test and diagnostic equipment in order to determine the cause of mechanical or electrical problems

**Job Summary:**
Provide exceptional support as part of a team of professional service technicians, responsible for carrying out operational, maintenance and repair works on commercial Chillers and HVAC equipment in the Region of Queensland.
**Responsibilities:**
Carry out planned and unplanned service, maintenance and commissioning
of all types of Trane and other brand of Chiller Plants, Air Handling Units and Unitary Air Conditioning Systems
? Accurate and timely completion of required paperwork related to work
performed
? Participate in the after hours standby duty roster
? Fostering and maintaining professional working relationships amongst
technicians and apprentices and continually demonstrate the ability to work within pairs and smaller teams
? Comply with all safety, company and statutory policies and procedures at all
times
? Actively participate in all company facilitated training and service meetings
as required by the company
? As required by the company, facilitate on-site training for
technicians/apprentices as well as supervise work performed by an allocated apprentice.
? Quote and bring new client leads of small service repairs
**Qualifications:**
? 3+ Yrs experience/exposure to commercial HVAC Chillers
? Trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
? Current restricted Electrical License
? Valid Driver's License
? Construction Induction Card (white card)
? Current ARC Licence
? Experience in A/C maintenance and Installations of all types
? Good time management and customer service skills
? Technical competence
? Ability and confidence to work alone and in team environment
? Positive and proactive approach to safety

**Description**
**About the role**
Stantec's Geospatial team in Sydney supplies survey services for projects throughout New South Wales. Our team offers diverse opportunities for Surveyors in the Sydney area. We currently have many large and interesting projects for an experienced surveyor to hit the ground running using all the latest technology.
In this role, you will be working with a team of specialist surveyors on a variety of projects including rail, transport and infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for the managing and completing work required to successfully deliver survey projects. You will be supplied with the best surveying equipment and work with highly respected professionals who will support your development and growth within Stantec.
**Day to day tasks would involve:**
+ Undertake various engineering surveys which will include control surveys, topographic surveys, rail surveys, construction set out surveys and cadastral surveys.
+ Office reductions in 12D or MAGNET or Civil 3D
+ Checking plans in AutoCAD
+ Work strictly to health and safety standards
+ Work towards deadlines accurately managing your time efficiently
+ Continually liaise with Survey Project Managers, clients and external stakeholders
**To be successful for this role you'll need:**
+ Relevant tertiary qualification in Surveying (Diploma or Degree)
+ Minimum 4 years' experience, working on a range of surveying projects (previous experience working on rail projects will be advantageous)
+ Proficient experience in a range of surveying projects to be independent in your work
+ Demonstrated experience using Leica or Trimble robotic total stations and GPS units
+ Valid Australian driver's license
+ Competent use of AutoCAD, 12D or Magnet
