Our client, Nightlife Music Pty Ltd, based out of Brisbane (Milton – QLD) is actively looking for an experienced Developer Programmer to join its team on a full-time basis. Nightlife services over 4,500 clients across all industries from hospitality, fitness, retail, accommodation, leisure, dining, cruising, education and entertainment. Business curates music and great visuals for its clients, whether dining, shopping, working-out, meeting friends for a drink, bowling, taking a holiday on a cruise or checking in to a hotel, chances are the music and great visuals have been curated and put there by Nightlife. Based out of Brisbane, the Developer Programmer will be responsible for handling the AWS Cloud based Softwares and Apps, implementing various projects for the development of their Business to Business (B2B) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications br>
Main Responsibilities of the role are-
• Design, code, test and maintain software applications supporting Nightlife’s music and video streaming platforms, ensuring reliability, low latency and high availability for hospitality and retail clients.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer (Developer) is responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting software and algorithms for multiple target tracking and detection systems. Responsibilities will include:

  • Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards
  • Develop, enhance and maintain algorithms related to target tracking and detection systems
  • Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
  • Package and support deployment of releases.
  • Analyse and resolve technical and application problems
  • Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership to teammates through delivery of quality solutions to technical problems
  • Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits
  • Assist in the collection and documentation of user’s requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans

Qualifications & Prerequisite Requirements

  • Several years of enterprise software design and development with a focus on C++ and C#
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (Computer science, Engineering, Mathematics), or post graduate qualifications in mathematics
  • Development of real-time software applications, and skills in multithreading in C++
  • Solid capabilities with algorithm development
  • Knowledge of radar signal processing would be advantageous
  • Ability to work autonomously on complex technical problems
  • Have a strong mathematics background
  • Practical experience with multi-target tracking systems would be advantageous
  • Experience with agile development methodologies including Kanban and Scrum
