**Primary purpose of the role**
The IT Technician is responsible to use their expertise to monitor, and maintain all IT systems. The IT Technician must be focused on specific computer networks, databases, or systems administration. Must be able to service, repair and maintain information technology systems in both a stand-alone and client-server environment. The IT Technician must be able to participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the organization and ensure that system hardware, operating systems, and software systems are fully operational. Implement the Iron Mountain integration plan to ensure all Iron Mountain processes are followed consistently and embedded. Managing and tailoring, when necessary, global processes which will drive organisational performance.
**Key Accountabilities**
+ **Hardware Diagnostics & Repair**
+ Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals
+ Identify and replace faulty components such as RAM, hard drives, power supplies, and motherboards.
+ **Fault Identification**
+ Systematically identify hardware and software faults through diagnostic tools and manual testing.
+ Provide accurate root cause analysis for recurring or complex issues
+ **System Imaging & Installation**
+ Install and configure operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
+ Use disk imaging tools to deploy standardized system setups
+ **Software Troubleshooting & Updates**

You will be responsible for the safe, high-quality, and effective execution of mechanical maintenance across a range of oil and gas assets. This includes both planned and corrective maintenance activities, with a strong focus on reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.

+ Utilize CMMS (e.g., Maximo) for planning, executing, and closing out PM/CM work orders, ensuring accurate asset history and failure reporting.
+ Perform inspections, diagnostics, servicing, and rebuilds of mechanical equipment including:
+ Pressure Safety Valves (PSVs)
+ Hydraulic hoses and systems
+ Caterpillar gas engines
+ Waukesha gas engines
+ Air compressors
+ Frick and Ariel gas compressors reciprocating/rotary
+ TEG FMC pumps and dehydration skids
+ Remedy issues through laser shaft alignment and flange management practices.
+ Apply vibration analysis and condition monitoring techniques to assess equipment health.

+ **Engine Systems Interactions -** Interprets and analyzes the interactions of internal and external electrical and mechanical systems (exhaust, heating, cooling, fuel systems, driveline, aftertreatment, controls, sensors, etc.) by applying tools, service publications (Cummins, Original Equipment Manufacturer) and taking measurements to efficiently and correctly diagnose and repair.
+ **Product Repair and Maintenance -** Repairs and maintains mechanical/electrical products following guidelines, using required tools within standard repair time to ensure a quality repair; disassembles and assembles engines or power generators following guidelines, using required tools to ensure a clean and organized environment; inspects and replaces parts and components following re-use guidelines to minimize customers cost of ownership; performs progressive damage check following guidelines to restore to pre-failure condition.
+ **Service Documentation -** Creates and verifies customer, equipment and technical information; captures specific data using required service tools; follows procedures and documents required information in the service management system in order to have an accurate record of the work done.
+ **Technical Escalation -** Obtains product technical issue information and utilizes available resources including data management tools; elevates issues to a higher level of expertise, balancing timeliness of customer response with investigation efforts; captures all troubleshooting steps in the appropriate database in order to ensure seamless transitions and accurate response to ticket resolution in a timely manner.

We are looking for a talented **Heavy** **Diesel Mechanic** to join our workshop team in **Campbellfield** ! Ideally our Diesel Mechanic would be **Heavy Vehicle qualified** , however if you have a Light Vehicle qualification with experience in Heavy Diesel, Trucks, would also be considered.

+ Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**To be successful in this role you will need the following:**
+ Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, or Diesel Fitter (to Australian standards)
+ Light Vehicle qualified with Heavy duty exposure will also be considered
+ Experience as a technician in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products
+ Ideally possess engine rebuild and reconditioning experience or knowledge
+ Solid diagnostic capabilities with the help of systems on computers
+ Safety Focused
