What You'll DoIn the role of Food Service Assistant, your duties will include:
+ Food Preparation - Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, marinating, and ensuring proper portioning for recipes.
+ Cooking - Cook food according to restaurant or kitchen standards, following recipes to ensure consistency and taste.
+ Maintain Cleanliness - Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen, cooking equipment, and utensils. Follow sanitation and food safety standards.

Requirements:
+ Must be a US or Australian citizen
+ Must Possess an active US Secret or AUS NV-1 Clearance.
+ Must have a minimum of three years of experience in food service or a related field.
+ Must have demonstratable experience following instructions and safely operating kitchen equipment.
+ Must have an understanding of hygiene and food safety rules.
+ Must be capable of standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy items, and working in a fast-paced environment.
+ Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.

As Food & Beverage Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the supervision of Outlet operations, including but not limited to - service mise en place, equipment set up and pack down, food and beverage service periods. **What we need from you**
+ At least 1 years of related experience, as a Team leader or Supervisor.

+ Valid Victorian RSA and Food Safety Certificate, as required by local law.

**About our Role**
We currently have an opportunity for a permanent, full-time Territory Manager Far North Queensland which can be based in Cairns, Townsville or Mackay to join our Foodservice team, reporting to our State Distribution Manager - QLD. This hybrid role combines distributor management and direct end-user engagement spanning the regions of Cairns, Townsville and Mackay.
You will be responsible for managing and growing a large portfolio of customers-ranging from pubs, clubs, restaurants, hotels, takeaways, to health and aged care institutions-supported by distributors. Using our Salesforce platform, you will build awareness, drive product trial, and encourage adoption of Simplot's food service products.

**What you will do**

The Food & Beverage Supervisor / Event Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the Front of House (FOH) team within Beaches Restaurant and Bar, ensuring exceptional service standards and smooth daily operations. This dual-role position also involves proactively seeking and securing conference and event bookings through in-person sales calls, telephone outreach, and on-site guest relations activities.
This role will be full-time with 38 hours per week guaranteed for the successful applicant.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Act as the main point of contact for all venue enquiries, bookings, and co-ordination
+ Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements and develop tailored event plans
+ Coordinate all logistical elements of events including staffing, catering, equipment and vendor management
+ Ensure the venue is set up and presented to the highest standards for each event
+ Monitor budgets and provide regular progress updates to clients
+ Identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience and make recommendations for venue improvements
+ Maintain a list of suppliers to support the delivery of large events eg, conferences and weddings.
+ Support the wider team with various administrative and operational tasks as needed
+ Be creative in finding unique opportunities and experiences to showcase Club Wyndham as a premier function space to maximise our venue hire and food and beverage sales.
+ Promote our venues at local tourism engagement opportunities and attend trade events.
+ Gather post event feedback for continual business improvement.
+ Manage restaurant reservations and respond to customer inquiries
+ Ensure the highest level of visitor satisfaction and managing the FOH team to ensure smooth running of daily operations
+ Managing opening and closing tasks for the restaurant, inclusive of End-Of-Day banking
+ Contribute to content creation for social media.
+ Comply with organisational policies and procedures including work health and safety, workplace diversity and fair work practices.
+ This position requires the ability to work flexible hours, including some after-hours and weekend work.
