The opportunity
As our Manager you’ll partner with Chief Finance Officers, their finance teams, and wider connected business areas to create long-term value, trust, and confidence within their organizations. Combining your commercial experience, deep sector and regulatory knowledge, with your expertise in financial accounting and reporting, and finance function leading practices you will drive outcomes and provide advice across a wide range of finance function topics. The opportunity
We are looking for a Manager or Senior Manager to join our Financial Services Office (FSO) supporting the Financial Accounting Advisory Services team. We are seeking driven and ambitious Managers/Senior Managers with 5+ years’ experience to play a key role in driving growth by developing new and existing client relationships, leading highly skilled project teams and delivering a first-class customer experience on high-profile engagements. The team provides finance, treasury and other advisory services on financial product distribution and consumptions to banking, insurers, asset management, corporate and government clients.

Your Key Responsibilities
Lead various engagements working directly with a wide range of clients across several industries in the areas outlined above. Execute projects end-to-end, including defining strategies, solving problems, coaching teams and managing budgets. Demonstrate an advanced proficiency in financial products. Understand the evolving factors affecting our clients’ businesses and begin to develop a network of your own relationships. Take ownership of, prepare and communicate high quality client deliverables. Ensure work is delivered in a timely fashion and in compliance with EY policies and quality and risk management principles.
Skills And Attributes For Success
Relevant bachelor’s degree and completed professional qualifications relevant to Finance, Risk or Treasury, i.e. CAANZ or CFA (or equivalent, recognized by these specific bodies). 5+ years’ experience post qualification working experience, preferably in Consulting or Assurance at a professional services firm. Desire to drive revenue growth through the identification and conversion of new opportunities for the team, building relationships and expending our market service offering to clients. Strong understanding of financial product cash flows and the Financial Services industry, ideally within Australia and New Zealand. Advanced business writing skills and communication skills (written and oral). Good capability in technical finance and risk relevant matters and/or treasury. Open to travel for work purposes, flexible with work hours to accommodate project deadlines.

Citi's Capital Markets and Advisory team provides advisory services and debt and equity capital markets solutions for corporations, governments and financial institutions.
The Financial Institutions coverage team is responsible for providing relevant clients with strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions and assisting clients raising funds and other capital management activities.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Assume significant levels of responsibility for the various phases of project and transaction execution, new business development and overall growth of the firm
+ Work with clients, senior-level team members and outside professional advisors on M&A transactions
+ Work with clients on financing transactions and guide them through the capital raising process, including leading due diligence and drafting sessions and preparing them for an equity or debt offering
+ Responsible for drafting pitch materials, information memoranda, financial models, investor and management presentations
+ Oversee work being performed by analysts & associates assigned to projects, including managing and mentoring analysts by providing detailed guidance and feedback
**Qualifications:**
