The Role
This role will suit Lawyers with 5-10+ years experience across employment law (including common law contracts, unlawful termination and performance management) industrial / workplace relations, equal employment opportunity / diversity and workplace health and safety as well as compliance issues. You will also provide advice on enforceability and interpretation of industrial instruments and collective bargaining agreements as part of an an established in-house legal team of 40+.
Full PD available on request to suitable applicants. Top or Mid tier employment law advisory experience into large ASX companies will be advantageous.
The position will be an initial 12 month contract, however the group has a history of converting contracts into long term permanent roles

Demonstrated post admission experience in private practice (ideally 2- 4 PQE) in medical negligence, professional conduct related litigation experience is preferred. Previous experience in conducting all phases of litigation and/or professional conduct cases. Previous experience in employment law an advantage. The ability to express ideas effectively with proven excellent written and verbal communication skills. High level of prioritisation, time management and self-management skills. The ability to mentor and support junior team members.Good computer literacy and competency to work in an electronic document management environment.
