Meta seeks a highly motivated team player to serve as a Law Enforcement Outreach manager to join our APAC team. The position will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with law enforcement agencies, government authorities with an internet safety, frauds & scams, high risk harms mitigation and security focus, and related industry coalitions in the region. They will also support this work on a global scale to help lead and participate in company wide, global workstreams in these areas. The role will also manage tactical responses to events related to the law enforcement community. This is a great opportunity to work on complex and unique issues in an exciting, time-sensitive environment. This position will entail frequent travel in and around APAC and occasional travel to other parts of the world.The role is in-office and based in Sydney.
**Required Skills:**
Law Enforcement Outreach Manager - ANZ Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with law enforcement and government authorities
2. Work closely with internal legal, investigative, policy, integrity and communications teams on engagement with law enforcement authorities about online and Meta Employee safety, key safety areas, security and law enforcement issues
3. Educate law enforcement authorities on our policies for protecting user privacy and responding to legal requests
4. Work closely with Meta's legal and law enforcement response teams and outside counsel in responding to governmental requests for data
5. Work with investigation teams to develop and refer relevant matters to law enforcement authorities
6. Work with internal teams and global safety organizations to develop and enhance Meta's mitigation efforts against frauds and scams, high risk harms and other integrity problems, and manage safety related issues in the region and coordinate these efforts globally
7. Support launches and different initiatives across platforms
8. Support the Company and its employees during emergencies
**Minimum Qualifications:**

10. 8+ years of experience in a security, safety or law enforcement role within the private sector
11. Experience with law enforcement agencies relating to requests for data
12. Familiarity with processing or handling legal documents (e.g., civil and criminal subpoenas, court orders and search warrants)
13. Technical knowledge, and experience related to cybercrime and online investigations
14. Demonstrated experience in public presentation/communication
15. Open to travel frequently in APAC and other parts of the world (periodically) and flexibility in covering other countries whenever required
16. Open to work off hours, including weekends and occasionally on holidays, in order to support emergency matters

17. Prosecution or criminal investigation experience
18. Familiarity and experience with the legal system in APAC
19. Technical knowledge of specific criminal areas such as cybercrime, child safety, human trafficking, frauds and scams, illicit drugs/firearms or terrorism is a plus

+ Ensure the safety and security of the building during overnight hours
+ Monitor and control the entry and exit of residents, guests, and visitors
+ Observe and respond to any suspicious activity through CCTV monitoring
+ Address noise complaints and disturbances in a calm, professional manner
+ Conduct hourly patrols of Level one, Level 23 and External exit points to maintain security standards
+ Enforce compliance with building by-laws and house rules
+ Provide concierge-style service, including general assistance to residents and guests
+ Maintain detailed duty logs, incident reports, and handovers
+ Liaise with emergency services as needed and follow approved protocols
+ Operate and manage building systems, including key control, fire panels, and Opera PMS
+ Co-ordinating the mail rooms and parcel return policy
+ Other duties as directed by the Night Manager and Building Manager
**Requirements:**
+ Ability to work the required overnight hours and weekend work.
