**Key Responsibilities**
+ As the technical interface between the customer, management and the implementation team, conduct systems analysis to derive function, performance and interface requirements to meet electrical safety parameters.
+ Engage with System Design activities (including trade studies) to ensure that the mechanical design artefacts are compatible with the baselined product; consistent across all subsystems, delivering system design to meet performance requirements.
+ Perform technical risk analysis as required in your work as the mechanical engineer to support development and review of hazard logs, safety case arguments and risk mitigation actions.
+ Ensure assigned mechanical components are developed and implemented according to appropriate standards and procedures.
+ Collaborating with internal and external stakeholder; securing Raytheon's reputation as a trusted partner in delivering systems integration and mission support solutions to our customers.
**Skills, Experience and Qualifications**
+ Tertiary Qualification in relevant mechanical/mechatronics/structural engineering discipline; holding as a minimum tertiary qualifications and professional development sufficient to attain recognition as CPEng with Engineers Australia in a relevant engineering stream, including ability to attain RPEQ recognition.
+ Experience in an Engineering discipline including involvement in one or more of the following Engineering practices - Requirements Definition, Management, Analysis, Design and Verification and Validation.
+ Experience in effectively representing Engineering professional services to both internal and external customers.
+ Minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience (when a University Degree is held).
+ Experience with a 3D CAD parametric modelling software.
+ Experience in mechanical component / sub-system selection and procurement. Practical to substantial knowledge of projects, programs, or systems relevant to the business with the ability to make enhancements and leverage knowledge in daily work.

**Technical Leadership:**
+ Lead the execution of design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements

**Day to day tasks would involve:**
+ Responsible for technical planning and managing (multi-discipline and single discipline) projects from initial master planning, concept and brief, through to installation and commissioning.

# Project Overview:
The Ar Rjum Project comprises a green field gold project with three open pit mining operations with associated waste dumps and ore stockpile, a processing plant, tailings management facilities, and supporting infrastructure including water supply, power supply, maintenance facilities, offices, temporary and permanent accommodation village. The Project is situated within the Central Arabian Gold Region, approximately 200 km north-east of Taif towards Riyadh and about 26 km South of Al Mouwayh, which is a small town situated on the Jeddah Riyadh highway. A desert track connects Al Mouwayh to the Project site.
Bechtel has been awarded the Ar Rjum gold project feasibility study update and related works by Ma'aden, Saudi Arabia's state-owned mining company. The scope will include updating the existing design capacity from 6 Mtpa to 8 Mtpa and preparing for execution, which is anticipated to kick off execution in 2025. This role will be based in Australia initially and must be willing to mobilise to the work site in Saudi Arabia on an 8 week on / 2 week off
# Job Summary:
As the Lead Trend Engineer you will be responsible for the overall management of the project trend program, including but not limited to the management of the trend register, coordination of trend development, running of project trend meetings and loading of completed trends into EcoSys.
# Major Responsibilities:
+ Day to day management of the trend program. Point of Contact for whole of project in trend initiation
+ Coordinate development of trend quantities and inputs with the trend and package owners
