**About the role**

We are currently looking for a Project Technical Lead/Team Lead to join our established and growing Structural team.

**Responsibilities include:**
+ Leading project delivery from concept design through to construction, ensuring technical excellence.
+ Playing a key role in business development and client engagement, including maintaining and expanding existing relationships.
+ Identifying new opportunities and contributing to strategic planning and growth initiatives.
+ Overseeing project financials including fee proposals, resourcing, budgeting, and profitability.
+ Managing and mentoring engineers and drafters within the team, fostering a high-performance culture.
+ Peer review of design work and documentation to ensure quality and compliance.
+ Representing the business in client meetings, presentations, and industry forums.
+ Contributing to the continual improvement of systems, processes, and design standards.
+ Ensure adherence to professional standards, ethics and quality procedures and standards and make project Teams are aware of commercial and technical risk and what they should do to minimise it.
**Qualifications**
**To be successful for this role you'll need:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years' relevant project technical experience in the consulting or engineering industry.
+ Relevant tertiary qualifications (Structural/Civil Engineering).
+ CPEng/NER accreditation.
+ Registered Design Practitioner or on pathway to achieve, highly desirable.
+ Strong leadership capabilities and experience managing teams and/ or projects.
+ Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
+ A track record of driving business performance through technical and commercial contributions.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and influence.
+ A proactive and strategic mindset with a passion for growing business and people.
