**ABOUT THE ROLE / PURPOSE**
The Logistics Specialist has direct oversight and coordination of external logistics service provider activities and performance across Australia and New Zealand. + Manage functional e-mailbox.
+ Ensures that detailed operational procedures are kept up-to-date and aligned with the Logistics Manuals.

+ Oversight for invoices for logistics activities and coordinating the invoice payment arrangement for vendors.

+ Provide transport planning coverage during team absences, including load planning and supplier coordination
+ Conduct liability investigations for transport-related damages and make recommendations based on findings
+ Manually process warehouse invoices, verify against system rates, and manage approvals for additional charges or overtime

+ Support 3PL warehouse inventory reconciliation activities
**About you**

**About the Opportunity**
As we continue to grow, we are looking for an exceptional leader to oversee our logistics operations and warehouse management. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual with extensive experience in a senior logistics and warehouse management role.
Based in North Ryde, Sydney, you will report to the Head of APAC Operations and be responsible for supply chain efficiency, cost management, optimizing the movement, storage, and organization of goods within our warehouse, and ensuring seamless order fulfillment from both on and offshore to meet our customers' expectations around Australia.

The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field and have proven experience in a senior logistics and warehouse management role.
To be successful in the role you will need to possess a strong understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management, be proficient in logistics software (e.g., Navision) and Microsoft Office Suite, and have superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other key stakeholders. The OpportunityKBR is seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Officer to assist the Systems Program Office (SPO) in developing support plans, services and contracts that deliver acquisition logistics outcomes. You'll support the transition of sustainment requirements into in-service arrangements and contribute to overall program success in line with transition planning.
Key Responsibilities
+ Manage inventory and update ILS documentation in line with acquisition requirements.
+ Support compliance activities, including ACT and MILIS transactions such as codification, dues-in, and PIOS.
+ Draft logistics-related briefs, reports, and correspondence.
+ Assist with CDRL reviews, FIC inputs to CLC processes, and logistics policy clarification.
+ Provide input into systems analysis, costing, business case development and procurement activities.
Skills and Experience
+ Strong background in acquisition or sustainment logistics, ideally within Defence (Uniformed, APS, or Contractor).
+ Proficiency in ILS documentation, inventory management, and understanding of ASDEFCON and CLC frameworks.
+ Ability to manage or contribute to Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) programs and life cycle cost assessments.
+ Skilled in configuration and transition management, with excellent written and verbal communication.
+ NV1 security clearance (minimum), with the ability to obtain NV2.
Other Requirements
+ Sound knowledge of SADL, ILS risks, and FIC relationships.
+ Experience with Defence workforce planning, including material safety compliance (e.g., SDSs).
+ Familiarity with Electronic Warfare systems is desirable.
+ Location: RAAF Base Edinburgh, SA - on-site attendance required up to 5 days a week depending on access and duties.

As the ideal candidate you will bring:
+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field and eight years of relevant experience. Four years of specialised military experience in a related field may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree. In lieu of formal education, at least sixteen years of progressive experience in a related field is acceptable.
+ Sound understanding of the ILS Support System Constituent Capabilities (SSCCs)
+ Sound understanding of the role of ILS in a Defence Acquisition Project environment
+ Development of ILS documentation (such as ILS Plans, ILS Concepts, Integrated Logistics Support Instructions, etc)
+ Exposure to and understanding of the Australian Defence Contracting (ASDEFCON) template suite

Key Responsibilities
+ Own, lead & optimize Logistics planning and execution processes for ONW Australia by focusing on safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost
+ Manage weekly deliveries of turbine components to project sites, coordinating a team of contractors and Logistics Service Providers.
+ Continuously optimize quarterly business case given changing dynamics, Communicate delivery progress to business leadership
+ Support the commercial and proposal teams in the negotiation phase with Transportation management plans (TMPs), road and site survey, site & port inspections, route approvals, stakeholder management with government bodies
+ Develop portfolio of transportation and service providers utilized in delivery execution
+ Lead the sourcing of Logistic Service Providers (LSPs) to include trucks and storage facilities; Work with Logistics Service Providers (LSP) to achieve execution excellence for the project's portfolio
+ Provide cost estimates during sales phase, negotiate rates with LSPs and ensure meeting of budgets during execution
+ Apply LEAN & continuous improvement methodologies and concepts, Maintain Key Performance Indicators to drive continuous improvement
? **Qualifications/Requirements**
+ Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited university or college with coursework in Engineering, Statistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain and Logistics, or Data Analytics.
+ Demonstrated experience in Supply Chain, Materials Planning, Project Management, and/or Logistics Planning
+ Prior experience in Project/Logistics environment
+ Strong data analytics skills and proficiency with relevant digital logistics tools
