**The Role**

+ Market testing activities;
+ Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including Enterprise partners, suppliers, Office of Defence Industry Support, state government defence departments, and industry groups;

+ Identify opportunities to increase indigenous-owned and veteran-owned businesses in the MV supply chain.
**Skills, Experience and Qualifications**
+ Requires a University Degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience);
+ Minimum 8 years prior relevant experience (when a university degree is held);
+ Expert knowledge of Australian industry and government with established networks.
+ Demonstrated experience in:

**Responsibilities**
**Supply Chain & Manufacturing role (Australia)**
This role is designed for a senior expert who partners closely with the Supply Chain Director and Manufacturing Director to lead and accelerate digital transformation across end-to-end operations. The ideal candidate brings deep domain expertise in supply chain and manufacturing, combined with a strong grasp of emerging technologies such as AI, digital twins, and agentic systems.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Strategic Technology Enablement** : Act as a trusted advisor to the Supply Chain and Manufacturing leadership, translating business challenges into scalable technology solutions that drive agility, resilience, and operational excellence.
+ **Transformation Leadership** : Lead the design and execution of transformation roadmaps, including smart factory initiatives, intelligent planning, and autonomous operations.
+ **AI & Digital Twin Integration** : Champion the adoption of AI, digital twins, and robotics to enable predictive visibility, real-time optimisation, and human-machine collaboration across planning and execution systems.
+ **Cross-Functional Collaboration** : Work across R&D, procurement, logistics, and production teams to ensure alignment of digital initiatives with business goals and customer expectations.

**Qualifications**
**Ideal Profile:**
+ Proven experience in supply chain and manufacturing operations, ideally within retail or consumer goods.
+ Strong background in digital transformation, with hands-on experience deploying AI, ERP, MES, or digital twin platforms.
+ Ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams.
+ Recognised as a subject matter expert with the credibility to represent the organisation in customer-facing and strategic forums.
**Required/Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 7+ years customer-facing experience in consumer goods, retail, management consulting, consultative selling, technology or industry-relevant equivalent management or technical work experience
o OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 5+ years customer-facing experience in consumer goods, retail, management consulting, consultative selling, technology or industry-relevant equivalent management or technical work experience
o OR equivalent experience.
**Additional or Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 15+ years customer-facing experience in a combination of consumer goods and retail industry _and_ management consulting at the Director, Principal and Associate Partner level or equivalent (strategy preferred with the likes of Accenture, PwC, EY, McKinsey, KPMG or the equivalent), consultative selling of transformative technology.
