**Your New Role and Responsibilities**
In this role, you will work closely with the Experience Management Solution Architects to support the successful delivery of both new and ongoing requests from our customer. This is a unique opportunity to gain insight into the inner workings of the Centralised Processing (CP) program, engage in close stakeholder management with Defence Platform Services, and collaborate across broader Defence teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Schedule Management: Maintain and coordinate the team's delivery schedule to ensure alignment with key priorities and deadlines.
+ Task Coordination: Organise and track team activities, helping to focus effort on high-priority tasks and managing dependencies as needed.
+ Ways of Working: Maintain the team's Visual Task Board (VTB) and Assignment Queue, and help ensure clarity and visibility of work in progress.
+ Stakeholder Engagement: Support communication and coordination between internal teams (Projects, OGS, BD) and key external stakeholders across Defence.
+ Reporting & Tracking: Assist with progress tracking, reporting, and documentation to ensure visibility of work and timely delivery of outcomes.
+ Continuous Improvement: Identify and contribute to improvements in team processes and coordination methods.
**Qualifications & Experience**
+ Strong organisational and time management skills.
+ Experience in project coordination or delivery support roles.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Familiarity with tools for planning and task management (e.g., Visual Task Boards, Excel, ServiceNow).
+ Ability to work collaboratively.

**About the role:**
In your role as an Analyst, you will play a key role in the national Credit Management team ("CM"; formerly CPM or Credit & Portfolio Management) which sits within Global Corporate & Investment Banking ("GCIB") division, supporting the origination and management of new and existing corporate and institutional customers in Australia, as well as local subsidiaries of multi-nationals banked by GCIB globally.
The broader CM team plays an important role in achieving the Bank's risk & return targets through (a) conducting annual credit reviews and credit monitoring in accordance with the Bank's internal procedures; and (b) delivering on a number of strategic and balance sheet focused tasks / assessments.
This role is an integral part of this function through the successful completion of a range of day to day tasks, including: the management of customer credit & portfolio related requests, periodic review of customer credit and risk profiles, supporting the Relationship Managers and CM Leads on the credit approval process of new transactions (incorporating deal structuring, preparing credit submissions, historical and forward looking financial and industry analysis etc.), the preparation of client presentations and customer account plans and managing compliance with internal processes and policies as well as other ad hoc support for Relationship Managers and the Head of CM.
**What you'll be doing:**
The Analyst will be responsible for supporting credit analysis across a portfolio of clients in the Diversified Industries segment (including Digital Infrastructure: Telco & Tech, Data Centre, Consumer, Industrial, Food & Beverage & Agriculture, Healthcare etc), with a focus on credit quality monitoring and the achievement of the Bank's risk / return targets through:
Account Management
+ Conducting annual credit reviews and internal rating reviews
+ Covenant compliance monitoring
+ Supporting refinancing and other revenue initiatives across the portfolio
+ Coordinating within the MUFG network
+ Client interactions on tasks required for on-boarding and account management
+ Any other required tasks in accordance with the Bank's policies and procedures and required to support the broader business
Portfolio Management
+ Support the CM team in the management of the wider portfolio, including a focus on sector risk / return and other strategic review processes
**What we are looking for:**
+ 1 - 3 years' experience in a major domestic or international bank or chartered accounting firm. Candidates from credit rating agencies, investment banks or investment management firms which have relevant skills will also be considered
+ Undergraduate Business / Commerce / Law Degree from a leading university is essential
+ Proficiency in the full suite of core Microsoft products
+ Possess an understanding of financial and economic markets
+ Experience in: (a) credit writing; (b) financial analysis and modelling; and (c) legal documentation and debt structuring
+ Be able to engage in independent research and analysis of customers and markets and apply critical thinking and a high level of attention to detail

**About the role:**
This role will support the delivery of the Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF) including:
+ Risk and Control Self-Inspection (RCSA)
+ Issue Management

+ Ensure that risk is appropriately managed and that processes meet applicable risk management standards and/or prudential guidelines.
+ Ensure adequate internal controls are in place to comply with all bank rules, policies and procedures and relevant regulatory prudential standards and requirements for Australia and New Zealand.
+ Continuous drive to improve and strengthen the organisation's operational risk management framework and assist in the enhancement of the ORMF to ensure it keep pace with regulatory expectations in Australia and New Zealand.
+ Manage periodic attestation processes such as ensuring all risk events have been captured, policies and procedures remain up to date and business heads understand the risk profiles of their business.
+ Partner with the business and support functions to provide trusted advice on risk management practices and the development of an effective and efficient risk and control framework.
+ Develop and deliver training and workshops to refresh risk management skills and competencies and educate staff in the in the Oceania business as required.
+ Assist in the tracking and timely resolution of risk events and associated counters measures.
+ Work with the business and support functions to ensure that the countermeasures are fit for purpose and that the controls are well designed and will mitigate identified risks.
+ Preparation of Risk Management Committee agendas and minutes.
+ General administrative duties on behalf of the CRO and Risk Management Team (inc. diary management, arranging travel, filing and archiving.
**What we are looking for:**
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a genuine interest and drive to learn about risk management. We will provide you with the knowledge and training to get involved across a broad range of risk management activities.
Ideally you will have 1 years' experience working in an operational risk, enterprise risk or audit function in financial services, with exposure to APRA & RBNZ (or another banking regulatory agency) regulations. However, we will also give consideration for recent graduates (in a related discipline), with a good understanding of operational risk management best practice and a grounding in the Three Lines of Defence principals of risk management.
Outstanding administration skills including use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential.
You will be highly organised and efficient, able to multitask and work autonomously and proactively. Strong attention to detail, accuracy and time management skills are essential, as well as a personable and professional manner.
