**Description**
As an EHS Management System & Assurance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards for improving and maintaining NGA's WHS and Environment Assurance and Audit Program. You will also have accountability for:
+ Consultation across all levels within NGA in the maintenance and delivery of the WHS and Environmental Assurance and Audit program.
+ To apply a continuous improvement approach to the delivery of the WHS and Environmental assurance and audit program, aligned to the Safety and Environmental strategies, legal requirements and ISO 45001 and 14001 requirements.
+ Leading improvements to maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification across NGA.
+ Undertaking and leading internal EHS assurance and audit activities.
+ Preparing and providing reports on the outputs of EHS assurance and audit activities to stakeholders, including the EHS Executive Council, Sites/Programs and customers.
+ Managing and improving NGA's safety, health and environmental management systems, including the promotion and education of the systems.
+ Work with the IT Team to provide support in the use of Cority (Safety Management system), including improvements.
+ Assisting with incorporating new or changed WHS or environmental requirements into management system documents, including broad research, writing, consultation and implementation.
+ Assisting in communicating and reviewing progress of the Safety and Environment strategies.
**About You:**
+ Demonstrated experience in leading an assurance and audit program, including undertaking internal audits.
+ Demonstrated experience in management systems, including the structuring, use of SharePoint, Nintex, and incident management systems.
+ Demonstrated experience in leading incident investigations, writing investigation reports and presenting the root causes and contributory factors.
+ Ability to collaborate with, build and maintain effective working relationships. Yes, Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Including the ability to collaborate and work with others in the capacity of a coach and mentor.
+ Proficient in the use of software systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, ChemAlert. An ability to solve complex problems by: actively seeking information and new ideas from a variety of sources; consistently looking for innovative ways to solve problems; mastering unfamiliar information, tasks and situations quickly and effectively
+ The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV1 Level
+ Qualifications in Work Health & Safety / Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent
+ Auditing qualifications and experience in ISO and or ISO 14001
