The Opportunity
You'll be a key member of our Queensland Water team who have secured projects that will change the way water in Australia operates forever. Our Water team offers services across the full water cycle, delivering major pipelines, large pumping stations, advanced water, wastewater and recycled water treatment plants.
KBR have significant work in hand supporting key water utilities such as Seqwater, Urban Utilities, Unitywater, Melbourne Water, Sydney Water, Water NSW, Sydney Desalination Plant and SA Water to achieve phased savings in capital expenditure, while delivering the best environmental and community outcomes. We have long term panel contracts in both consulting, and design and construction, enabling us to offer work opportunities from strategies through all stages of design and on to construction and commissioning support.
You will play a vital role in not just the local QLD team, but also the national water team, leading projects, mentoring people, providing technical oversight and managing client relationships on a range of projects across the country. KBR is exploring new ways to integrate digital engineering, virtual reality and artificial intelligence on projects, offering you the opportunity to future proof and broaden your skills in the digital sphere.
Who are you?
You are a design focused Principal Process Engineer who is motivated by achievement and outcome orientated. Your experience with design practices for water & wastewater across utilities and industrial applications will be highly valued. You possess a pragmatic approach to the development of constructable design solutions and have proven commercial acumen in the delivery of water infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead the design of large water and wastewater treatment plants
+ Technical adviser across RO, PRW, UV, aerobic and anaerobic digestion
+ Lead investigations, and preparation of technical reports, designs and drawings, contract documents and technical specifications
+ Provide guidance to process engineers across the company
+ Responsibility for maintaining relationship with clients
+ Assisting the Industry Leads in business strategy development
+ Lead the preparation of large and small bids
+ Promote and practice KBR's Zero Harm policy

Position Overview:
Due to continued growth and project wins we are looking for a Process Engineer to join our Engineering team in Adelaide.
Reporting to the process team lead within the Water, Environment and Industrial Group, you will be responsible for process engineering activities on projects typically involving wastewater treatment, potable water treatment, chemical dosing, odour control, venting, flaring, pumping and piping, pipelines, compression and similar. The role will work closely with other mechanical, structural, hydraulic, civil and electrical engineers in delivery of projects and proposals for a range of clients.
Key responsibilities include:
+ Develop process engineering design and analysis for projects across water, defence and energy sectors.
+ Develop and implement process simulations and models to optimize plant performance and efficiency.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met within specified timelines and budgets.
+ Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed projects.
+ Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
+ Ensure compliance with relevant Australian standards and regulations.
+ Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
Skills & Experience Required:
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
+ Proven experience in process engineering within water/defence projects.
+ Knowledge of Australian standards and regulations pertaining to process engineering.
+ Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Biowin, Aspen HYSYS, PHAST, etc.) is highly regarded.
+ Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
+ Current Baseline Clearance or the ability to obtain Defence clearance required.

We are getting busy in the lead up to peak season! As an Operator at the Huntingwood site, you will work within a team to achieve the manufacturing targets and KPIs. Your role will cover the entire site with a key focus on safe and efficient operation and maintenance of production equipment. The expectation is that, over time, you will be trained on equipment across the site and may be assigned to any of those areas as business needs dictate. The site may operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our team are on shifts across morning, afternoon and night.

As a key member of the Huntingwood team, you will:
+ Operate and maintain the production equipment whilst creating a safe environment for yourself and your colleagues;
+ Monitor the quality of our products;
+ Manage and maintain the production lines including equipment monitoring;
+ Ensure accurate completion of production records;
+ Ensure that best practice is being adhered to on each one of your shifts; and
+ Machine operation - from simple to complex machine centres undertaking sophisticated operation.
**What will you bring to the table?**
+ Experience operating packaging and/or processing equipment within a similar FMCG environment;
+ Experience using SAP;
+ Ability to quickly analyse problems in a structured way to come up with solutions to fix issues and make improvements;
+ Demonstrates situational awareness and ability to plan and optimise a production process;
+ An understanding of basic mechanical and electrical concepts as well as packaging technologies;
+ General knowledge of workplace health and safety/OH&S practices; and
+ Intermediate computer knowledge and the ability to adapt to new technologies.

**Role Summary:**
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of machines and equipment, both manual and computerized, to support efficient production processes. + Leitung und Mitarbeit an Projekten, Initiativen und Neueinführungen von Produkten/Prozessen und Anlagen
