+ Attend and lead project meetings, site coordination meetings, Quality and HSE briefings.
+ Demonstrate advanced knowledge of project engineering practices, technical governance, bid evaluation, cost estimation, and technical development.
**Factory, Site & Construction Management**
+ Coordinate with site teams for installation activities, compliance with method statements, and contractor performance.
+ Ensure that installation and commissioning works are executed as per design, schedule, Quality and HSE standards.
+ Support or lead site mobilization, FAT, SAT, performance testing, and final handover processes.
**Risk & Contractual Management**
+ Manage the project budget and cash flow, including forecasting and cost control.
+ Handle contract administration, change management, and variation orders in alignment with contractual terms.
+ Liaise with legal and commercial teams on contract deliverables and claims management.
+ Engage and influence stakeholders, ensuring effective risk management and adherence to contract lifecycle processes.
**Schedule Reporting & Documentation**
+ Develop and manage P6 project schedules, budgets, and contract governance frameworks.
+ Conduct regular weekly meeting with Eng, Sourcing, Factory, external vendor and customers with Meeting minutes action items to monitor the critical path.
+ Apply expertise in modularisation and stick-built construction methodologies.
+ Provide regular project report updates to GE Vernova leadership and customer representatives.
+ Maintain accurate project documentation including overall progress reports, risk registers, cash flow sheets for cost control, HSE records, and technical submittals.
+ Ensure all deliverables and close-out documentation are submitted and approved on time.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical preferred) or Project Management discipline.
+ Minimum 10-15 years of project management experience in the synchronous condensers, power substation, generation or transmission sector.
+ Proven experience with rotating electrical equipment (e.g., synchronous condensers, BESS, Datacentres & generators, motors).
+ Experience working on large infrastructure or utility-scale projects in Australia.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary and multi-national teams, including subcontractors. Lead complex projects with high visibility and impact.
+ Familiarity with Australian Standards, local HSE regulations, and utility practices.
+ Strong understanding of project management methodologies (PMP/PMI certification is a plus).
+ Proficient in Primavera (P6), MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet.
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

The JP9347 Joint Interface Control (JIC) System Project is a key program for Raytheon Australia and as such we are seeking a Project Manager to support delivery of the JP9347 program.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right Project Manager to play an instrumental role in creating the future of Joint Data Networks in Australia. The JP9347 JIC System program provides an assured exchange of tactical, operational and strategic data across the Joint Force and coalition partners; including Situational Awareness (SA) and Command and Control (C2) information.
As a Project Manager within the JP9347 program, you will assist the program manager in managing the acquisition of the Joint Integrated Control System. You will be part of an expert team of engineering, logistics, production and installation specialists, setting the vision and using your unique leadership skills.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Assist with the day-to-day management and delivery of an acquisition program undertaking the engineering, production and installation of the Joint Integrated Control System.
+ Manage program risk, budget, schedule, and program reporting (Estimates at Completion (EACs) and Program Management Reviews (PMRs) in accordance with Raytheon approved processes.
+ Manage and coordinate external resources (vendors and support agencies).
+ Conduct planning & coordination of program requirements & resources to meet the integration objectives for the program.
+ Prepare progress and status reporting to meet customer and Raytheon requirements.
+ Deliver quality outcomes to the customer and end users through all phases of the acquisition program.
+ Maintain excellent relationships with the customer through continuous and accurate communication.
**Qualifications, Experience and Skills**
+ Relevant tertiary qualification in either, Program or Business Management, or equivalent experience; with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a defence project management role or relevant experience;
+ Demonstrated competence in Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) competencies;
+ Sound understanding of military operations across, Air, Land, Maritime, Space and Information Domains and proven understanding of Joint Operations.
+ Proven ability to work both as an individual and as a member of a high-performance team.
+ Strongly developed interpersonal skills and able to influence stakeholders at an operational level and the ability to develop solutions that meet complex customer requirements.
+ Demonstrated experience with planning and scheduling range availability for multiple configurations and multiple customers.

**Your New Role and Responsibilities**
This is a customer facing role which supports a key customer capability primarily based at the customer site in Melbourne CBD.
This role is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of project definition, planning and execution. This includes developing detailed project proposals, plans, managing resources and schedules, and ensuring that deliverables meet contractual and stakeholder requirements.
Key Responsibilities: -
+ Lead and manage multiple concurrent Survey & Quote (S&Q) projects from development through to submission.
+ Coordinate end-to-end project execution, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and progress monitoring.
+ Engage with customers to gather and clarify project requirements.
+ Collaborate with technical teams to scope, cost, and deliver proposals.
+ Communicate project status, risks, and improvements to stakeholders while driving continuous process enhancement.
What You'll Bring to Make An Impact
+ Extensive experience in project management, ideally in government, defence, aerospace, or IT sectors.
+ Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent qualification.
+ Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar.
+ Proven ability to manage multiple technical projects in hybrid Waterfall/Agile environments.
+ Excellent communication skills for reporting, proposal development, and stakeholder engagement.
