What You'll DoIn the role of Network Administrator, your duties will include:
+ Maintain, install, upgrade and configure data systems.
+ Administer operating systems and maintain basic security and recovery procedures such as scheduling and backups.
+ Perform assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within their field.
+ Display core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.
+ Manage multiple IT vendors to ensure completion of IT projects in a timely manner.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
+ Must be an Australian citizen
+ Must Possess an active AUS PV Clearance.
+ Minimum of an Associates degree in Computer Science or a related field required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
+ Minimum of five years of directly related technical, professional experience required.
+ Requires knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP networking principals in a Microsoft Environment to include network topologies and transmission media
+ Possess a current Security+ Certification
+ Provides technical support for Microsoft Windows 2012/Win7 and Linux operating systems.
+ Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN troubleshooting.
+ Experience with IT support tools, ticketing systems, and remote desktop applications.
+ Experience in an enterprise IT environment or supporting large-scale systems.
+ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
+ Excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to plan and achieve a variety of tasks. Able to set priorities and deal with a number of issues and deadlines concurrently.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
+ Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following security protocols.
Desired Qualifications:
+ Certifications in disciplines such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft certifications in Windows Server and Windows Client.
This role will be located in Alice Springs. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.

As the Network Security Support Engineer you will be responsible for providing enterprise network security solutions such as firewalls, IPS, tap aggregation, packet capture, content filtering and security automation tools, to ensure the security and on-going stability of the Leidos Corporate Network. Your role will include;
+ Manage daily operations, maintenance and user requests in a large and global enterprise.
+ Build, configure, troubleshoot and update the network security capabilities to protect core networks and information.
+ Provide technical expertise to large or complex security projects.
+ Guide and support junior engineers and establish and maintain operating procedures.
+ In an on-call rotation provide emergency support for the corporate network security environment.
**What You'll Bring to Make An Impact**
+ Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years' experience including 2+ in an enterprise network or security environment, or equivalent combination of experience, training and professional certifications.
+ Strong knowledge of the OSI 7 layer model, TCP/IP and common application layer protocols.
+ Fundamental knowledge of IP based networking, including switching and routing.
+ Experience with common enterprise firewall vendors i.e. Check Point, Palo Alto, Juniper, Fortinet or Cisco/FirePower Threat Defense.
