**Your Role**
Northrop Grumman Australia is seeking a highly skilled Hardware System Administrator (HWSA) to join the team in Exmouth, Western Australia. This key role provides onsite maintenance, mission readiness, and technical support while closely collaborating with the DARC Program Office in Colorado Springs, USA. This position will provide you with the opportunity to travel to the USA.
+ Act as a Linux Systems Administrator, supporting multi-user systems in collaboration with network, software, and system engineers.
+ Ensure system stability and performance through regular maintenance, upgrades, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
+ Evaluate, recommend, and implement system enhancements to improve reliability and efficiency.
+ Work with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls, implementing and troubleshooting LAN and WAN technologies.Provide third-level network support and participate in after-hours or weekend support as required.

Basic Qualifications

The likely salary range for this position is $100,175 - $135,530. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Primary responsibilities include providing Tier 2 support of maintaining multiple large Enterprise environment that spans CONUS and OCONUS boundaries. Job Responsibilities & Duties:
+ System Administrative duties to include management of Windows and Linux workstations on EVDI and physical
+ Troubleshooting application functionality, crash and performance
+ Investigate user performance and work with external teams to improve user experience
+ Assist customers with Tier2 incident resolution for Linux and windows applications.
+ Provide remote end user desktop support
+ Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system incidents with both short-term workarounds and long-term solutions. Responds to escalated service desk/team requests.
+ Communicate effectively (in oral and written form) with a variety of individuals; work well within small and large team environments.
+ Participates in special projects as required.
+ Willingness to provide initial triage, response, and notifications for incidents

The likely salary range for this position is $97,750 - $132,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
