You will be living in a vibrant regional city located in the Murrumbidgee River region of New South Wales. The types of conditions present in this unit include coronary care, surgical and medical high dependency and Intensive care, neonatal and paediatric intensive care and trauma management.
The very modern unit is well equipped including Hamilton S1/C6, and Draeger V800, along with Prismax/Prismaflex CRRT Machines. 99% of admissions are emergency admissions, with an average age of 49yrs, majority indigenous, high Apache scores, and four times the national average of renal replacement therapy - a patient demographic like no other ICU in Australia.
